I wake up with a pounding headache. The pain rages through my head in waves. I put my hand up to my forehead, i find some pills and take them to relive the pain.

Its monday. The best part of the day is that he gets to see tyler. He never knew why he liked him so much, but he just did. Maybe its the brown eyes that seem to hold a million mysteries, or the soft lips, or his honey voice.

Hes lost in thought when his name. "Josh darlin, ive made you pancakes!" he hurries down the stairs and the smell of syrup fills his nose. He smiles "thank you mom, i love you!" He eats them quickly and gets dressed hops in his jeep and goes to school.

My arms, face and hands sting when i wake up. My bandaged hands and arms give off this tough look, which tyler is not. He is a sensitive, and soft guy.

he takes of the bandages and they are now scratches and scabs. No longer blood spilling slices in his skin. He puts on a blacker shade of jeans that have rips in them.

he also puts on a old shirt that says "Columbus Blazers Basketball". Used to play basketball when he found joy in things besides josh.

he puts on his backpack that weighs him down. He walks past his dad that hits his head as he walks out the door. He walks down the road for a few because he forgot the bus.

he walks for 10 minutes before a jeep stops beside him. "Need a ride?" It was josh. "Sure, thanks again man".

they get to school and they are 15 minutes early. They sit in the car in silence. Its comfortable, apart from all the chaotic things in his life.

The air is blowing joshs banana yellow hair. He looks up, opens his mouth then closes it. Tyler is confused.

Josh starts again and says "can i do something?" a blush spreads across his cheeks. "Yeah..."

before tyler can think of anything, josh leans in. Its a small kiss, josh puts his hand on tyler's small hand.

tyler is so happy. Josh pulls away "wow." is all he can say. Then "ive wanted to do that since ive seen you". really?!

wow. Tyler smiles WIDE. His lips are tingling, he double checks to see if hes still sleeping. Hes not.

josh offers tyler his hand. Which he gladly accepts as they are walking towards the school. josh walks tyler to class, STILL hand in hand.

People gasp in the hallway. Stares are lazering his back in class as he walks in with josh. Josh smirks and squeezes his hand tighter.

tyler feels so extremely happy. In his hell of a life he needs something like this. But was this an us?

Josh grabs a pencil and begins writing on a peice of paper. He hands it to him.

Josh reads the note and smiles. After school which ends at 2:00 tyler walks to the arcade. Its a 30 minute walk, so he wants to go then.

When he gets there he sits outside of it. The arcade is named 'out there arcade' with an alien by it. He likes it.

tyler paces back and forth till he sees the black jeep pull up. He smiles, and waits until josh gets out of his car. They go inside the building.

neon lights flash and glow. Pre-teens can be heard talking. They go to the counter and a teenage boy around 16 with a achne covered face pops up.

"Hello, welcome to far out there arcade" he says in a bored tone. Josh speaks up "um, can i get 2 player cards?" the guy with the name tag reading 'jake' goes into the back.

He comes back with 2 cards and he points to a machine that you put money in. He speaks "you get player points by putting money on your card, you use player points to play games. Sound good?" we both nod.

he puts 20 dollars on each card. That gives us both 100 points. He asks me which game i want to play, and i say the first thing that comes to mind. "Pac-man."

he nods and we walk over there. I insert my card and it starts. I suck. The blue ghost gets me the first time. Next the red, then the blue one again. Josh is muffling a laugh.

i sigh, irritated i say "its not like your any better" he smirks knowingly "well, i mean i am. Lemme try" i move into his spot and he moves into mine.

He wins. Twice. He was right. He says "boom, i am better!" he sticks out his toung like a 5 year old. I laugh. He looks at me with puppy dog eyes before saying "wanna be my boy-boyfreind?"

He is beet red in a flash, so am I. I smile and take his hand, "yes!" i kiss him. So there is an us. after 2 hours of playing games, its time to go home.

tyler asks for a ride home, to which josh repiles with "duh. hop in". this is the best day of tylers life. He is so, totally 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒌.
