Then, 2 months have come and so far so good for Marinette, her baby is growing a bit bigger.

Marinette: I scheduled an appointment at 3 for the ultrasound hearing. We might hear the baby's heartbeat.

Luka: Huh. Okay. I gotta cover a ship today. So, I'll be back til then.

Marinette: Okay. Not too late. *Luka leave the house and head to work. * Better get the kids from my parents. *She leaves the house, goes down the sidewalk, and heads to their house. At the bakery, she sees her parents and her kids, helping out. She walks inside and they see her. *

Sabine: Marinette. Hello sweetie.

Marinette: Hey. *She hugs her mom. *

Sabine: You're starting to show. Is it 2 months already?

Marinette: Yeah. I have an ultrasound at 3 today. We're gonna listen to the baby's heartbeat.

Tom: That's good. Have a donut. We made them this morning. *He handed Marinette a fresh glazed donut. *

Marinette: Thanks, dad. *She takes the donut and takes a bite. *

Mary: Mommy!

Mika: Mama!

Marinette: Hey. *She hugs Mary and Mika. * Did you two have fun yesterday?

Mary: Yes. Grandma taught me origami.

Marinette: That's great. What did you make?

Mary: A bird.

Tom: (holding a plate of donuts) We made these donuts this morning. Want to taste?

Marinette: Well... I am craving one. Sure why not? *She gets one and eats it. * Mmm they're good. What kind is this?

Tom: Double chocolate cream-filled donuts.

Marinette: They're good. Can I take a dozen?

Tom: Sure thing. I'll have it wrapped up for you.

Marinette: Thanks, dad.

Sabine: I'll get their stuff.

Marinette: Okay. *She takes Mary and Mika into the house and heads their stuff. *

Tom: Here you go, dear.

Marinette: Thanks, dad. *She finished her donut. Then, Mary and Mika came out with their stuff. *
Okay, are you ready to go?

Mary: Yes.

Mika: Yes.

Marinette: Okay. Say bye-bye to grandma and grandpa.

Mary: Bye grandma and pop pop.

Mika: Bye-bye.

Sabine: Bye-bye, come over anytime.

Marinette: I'm sure they will. *They leave the bakery and head home. * Daddy's at work, so he'll be home in time for the doctor's appointment.

Mary: Okay. *They reach the front door, Marinette unlocks the door, they walk inside, and
Marinette closes the door. * You two want some cake?

Mary: Yes, please?

Mika: Cake! Cake! Cake!

Marinette: Hold on. I'll get it. Just put your stuff in your rooms and I'll help you put it up. *They go upstairs to their rooms, Marinette puts the donuts on the stove, removes the cake lid, then cuts 2 slices of cake, puts them in little plates, and gets plastic spoons too. She goes upstairs to Mary's room and helps put her stuff up.* Okay. Go to the kitchen and I'll get your cake.

Mary: Okay. *Mary leaves the bedroom and Marinette goes to Mika's room, to help put his stuff up, she holds his hand, and they walk down the steps, and head to the kitchen. * Okay. Here you go. *She lends Mary a piece of cake and she lends Mika a piece of cake. * Go eat it at the table. Come on. *They go to the kids' table and they eat their cake. * I'll go prep up lunch. *She goes back into the kitchen, she sees what she can make for lunch, she sees American cheese single, a jar of mayonnaise, and some bread. She thought about making grilled cheese sandwiches for them. * A grilled cheese sandwich is good. *She gets started on that. *
