Perfect Dawn

Chapter 1

I witnessed how the sun appears, how it sleep, how the moon wakes up and how a dusky dawn eats the dark surrounding. It's my routine after that incident happened. My life became miserable after  that woman destroyed the most precious treasure I have; my family. Human heart is really our enemy. It beats faster when we are in love. But it's wrong. We do not know if he was the one. It leads us to bumped person accidentally. It destroys who we really are. Because of pain, we changed. Because of love, we learned how to hate that person who left us dumbfounded. But do we really need to hate them? The people who once we loved?

*knock* knock*

"Anak, are you still awake?" It's mommy.
"Not yet my, Come in." I know something is bothering her. I can see in those beautiful brown eyes that she cried before knocking my door. Bilang anak, hindi ko namn maiiwasan na mangamba. "Mommy, are you alright?" She just hugged me and sobbed in my shoulders. I can feel it. Nababasa ng mga luha niya ang damit ko. Because of that man again. Sa dami ng iiyakan mommy siya pa. "Anak, I don't know what to do. I love your dad more than myself. I gave all the love that he deserved. I don't know why he let that woman destroyed our family. I can't stop thinking that I had  my deficit that's why he find someone who can fulfill it. I am very sorry for you and your brother that I cannot fight for this family. Anak I tried, but he doesn't want to be with us. He choses that woman over us. I am sorry." I wiped the tears continuously flowing down his rosy cheeks. It hurts how your mom crying infront of you asking if she became an irresponsible wife. I saw how she treasures this family. She is a hardworking mother. 'Yong tipong kahit puyat ba puyat siya, Gumigising siya ng maaga ora ipagluto kami ng breakfast. Kahit naglalaba siya, nagluluto pa rin siya ng tanghalian namin. kahit na andami nyang inaasikaso sa trabaho, nakapagluluto pa rin siya ng dinner. She didn't want to hire maids because she wants to fulfill his duty being a wife and a mother by herself. And that's why I admired her. "Mommy, you are more than enough. Don't think too much. Let's begin a new family even though we're just three. We love you unconditionally, mommy. No exact words how we want to thank you for being the best mom for us. Let's forget dad. If he choses her, then let him be. We will prove him that he made wrong decision. From now on, we will live without him, mom." My heart wants to explode due to anger. " We will anak. Thank you."

I let mom sleep beside me. I comb her hair using my hands. We will live without a man mommy. One thing I learned last Sunday when we attended the mass, 'Man should be the one who chases a women's heart. Because they are incomplete without them. To sum up, women are the last piece to complete the personality of a man'. From this day, I will not love a man. Because in the end they always makes every woman cries.

"Good night, mommy. Iloveyou." I kissed her forehead and hug her and droved off to sleep."

Hindi ko susubukan na magmahal. Hindi ko hahayaang mangyari sakin ang nangyari sayo mommy. Aalagaan ko ang puso ko. Hindi ko hahayaang wasakin ng kahit na sino.
