Chapter 2

Jess's P.O.V

so when my mom left this morning she yelled at me for "what i did" but i just rolled my eyes and walked upstairs to go to bed. when i  woke up my brother and Kaden were standing over my screaming wake up. i sat up.

Kaden: why do you sleep like your dead.

Jess: why did you wake me up asshole.

I grabbed my pillow and hit him with it.

Derek: ha ha well get up. You and Kaden are going to go get our take out food he doesn't want to go alone and i don't want to go.

Jess: fine but get out of my room so i can get dressed.

they walked out of my room so i took a shower then put my makeup on and did my hair. I went and got dressed but i could find a cute t-shirt so i had to wear my old skin tight leopard crop top. i go dressed and out my shoes on. I walked down stair to Kaden and Derek arguing.

Derek: Don't pick up the wrong meal again.

Kaden: ok ok i wont. god

Jess: hey stop arguing and lets go Kaden.

Kaden: coming.

Jess and Kaden: bye Derek. 

Derek: bye

Me and Kaden started walking towards the Thai restaurant.

Kaden: so why did i never see you at your house when i moved.

Jess: i was in the hospital.

Kaden: oh. why?

i don't usually tell people my life story but i felt like i could trust Kaden.

Jess: I was in an abusive relationship with my ex Kevin i left him but when i got home i started cutting my self and my mom walked in and called 911. i was in for a month but i was supposed to be in for 2 months but i got my brother and mom to come get me out.

Kaden: oh im sorry.

Jess: its fine. your the 2nd person that knows that the firs is my brother.

Kaden: so i see you and your brother have a tight bond.

Jess: yeah my mom almost never home so we grew a great friendship I'm lucky to have him as my brother.

Kaden: oh i wish i had a sibling my mom never had another kid after my brother died.

Jess: oh im sorry.

Kaden: its fine.

we arrived at the restaurant and Kaden opened the door for me.

Kaden: I'm here to pick up #332

Lady: here that will be $20.38

Kaden pulled out some money and paid.

Kaden: keep the change have a nice day.

we walked back the house.

Derek: Finally. I'm starving.

Jess: did you guys get me anything.

Derek threw a box at me. i caught it

Jess: thank you asshole.

he nodded at me i walked over to the dining room and sat at the table, Kaden came and sat wit me.

Kaden: so one of my friends are throwing a party and i was wondering if you would like to go with me.

Jess: like a date?

Kaden: no not a date. just as friends.

Jess: ok then ill go with you.
