Can You See Me Now?

Chapter 12

Kaden's P.O.V I opened my eyes and saw Jess standing there with a gun in her hand and Kevin falling t the ground covered in blood.

Kaden: JESS WHAT DID YOU DO!!

i didn't mean to be mean i was just shocked.

Jess: I saved us.

she was still facing away from me. she dropped the gun and fell on the ground in tears.

Kaden: Baby whats wrong.

Jess: i killed someone.

Kaden: oh baby no you didn't you were protecting us and the baby.

she turned around and faced me.

Jess: but im scared

she was pale with tear stains. she came over and untied me. i wraoed my armes around her trying to not hurt the baby, since her stomach looked like a beach ball.

Jess: Kaden I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

she just kept on saying how sorry she is. i grabbed her face .

Kaden: baby girl stop saying how sorry you are you did nothing wrong.

i pulled her in and kissed her, she kissed back and i felt the same spark i had always felt.

Jess's P.O.V

i was scared this was gonna count as a murder, but when he kissed me all of my fears went away. he pulled away and put his hands on my stomach.

Kaden: i cant wait for this baby to be out in the world. Do we know if its a boy or a girl?

Jess: i told you i said i want to be surprised and I'm due in two weeks so there's not much longer to wait.

i giggled at him. The warehouse door slammed open, and the SWAT team was coming in and they saw Kevin.

Man: what happened.

i stood up and helped Kaden up. he held his hand out and i grabbed it.

Jess: We fell asleep last night and woke up here tied.

I couldn't speak anymore without crying so Kaden took over.

Kaden: when i woke up i saw him.

 he pointed at Kevin's body getting put in a bag.

Kaden: i realized it quick that i had been kidnapped.

He went on telling the rest of his point of view.

Kaden: then when i opened my eyes i saw her standing there with a gun in her hand.

Man: ok so how do you know this man.

Jess: he was my boyfriend before Kaden. He was abusive, and he was jealous that my baby wasn't his. so he kidnapped us saying that i had to go with or he was gonna kill himself and Kaden. but i had found i gun behind me so i kept it hidden and i shot him.

Man: you did the right thing.

i smiled and huged Kaden.

Kaden: lets go home.

we got home and he ran over to the counter and as he walked back i saw him put i in his pocket i just couldn't tell what it was

Kaden: you know i love you right.

Jess: yes i know that

Kaden: good because i want to give you this.

It was a beautiful Necklace that was a circle and a Crescent moon that said  love you to the moon and back.

Jess: i love it, but how long have you been planning on giving me this.

Kaden: i bought it a few weeks ago. i planed on giving you it earlier today bu you know.

i Grabbed his face and kissed him, he wrapped his arms around my waist. when he pulled away he grabbed my key necklace.

Kaden: I've always wondered why you had this.

i smiled.

Jess: it was the necklace my dad gave me on my birthday which was i week before the accident i never took it off and I'm never planing to.

i smiled and kissed her one last time. she pulled away. 

Jess: can we go to bed.

we walked to are room and i fell asleep in his arms...
