Bloodshed and the screaming cries of everyone in the city could be seen and heard. My body tenses from shock and I freeze but Cole snapped me out of it.
"Shawn I know how you're feeling right now but we must get out of here"
With that, me and Shawn start to head for the doorknob to exit the apartment
When out of a sudden...
*BOOOM*
Me and Shawn get sent flying all the way across the room. We both look at each other in pain and curiosity, but that curiosity soon turned to fear.
We see a human, but not a regular human. There was something different you could feel when you saw whatever this thing was, but it wasn't very welcoming at all.
With the courage of a lion, I stand up chest-high shoulders back and said: "What do you want?"
I get a reply instantly from the person/thing across from us "We want both of you dead"
Before I could even reply I am tackled by my friend Cole
The next thing I knew
We were both flying out of our window.
