Chapter 10 Peeta

"NO KATNISS NO!!" I scream and ten jump into action and go down there to save her.

Katniss is shooting the lizard mutts as their coming so I decide to pick her up and run as fast as I can up the latter to safety.

As I'm running with Katniss I see the man just running behind us all clothes torn up and killing the animals. And I can't believe who it is, it's Finnick. He's using his trident to save me and Katniss.

All of a sudden Katniss isn't moving and I'm worried.
"Katniss, Katniss sweetheart stay with me!" I'm telling her as I'm climbing up the latter. We note make it up there when Finnick is making his way up and then gets pulled down by five lizard mutts.
"AWWWWW! SOMEONE HELP ME!!" Finnick yells and then Katniss wakes up.
"FINNICK NO!!" I yell and then that's when Cressida and Plutarch closes the lid and secures it.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT FOR!!"
"Peeta just calm down." says Pultarch.

I instantly calm down when I see Katniss staring at me with a sad and scared face. I run over to her and hug her tightly. She wraps her arms around the waist and we just stand there hugging each other for like twenty minuets.

Gale is jealous and I can tell because he just looks away throwing rocks. And I don't care because in beating him.
"He's... dead... isn't... he... Peeta?" Katniss questions in between sobs trying to get some air.
"Yes, sweetheart he is. It's ok... shhh... it's ok." I was cooing to her so she can calm down.
"He really is dead."

A/n sorry for the short chapter again! I want to get some chapters done before I go on vacation with my family. This next chapter is the last chapter I will do before I leave for Disney land. Well be there for at least a month because we are visiting my aunt who lives by Disneyland. And the chapter will be posted tomarrow.
