"Daddy?" Allison said.
He looked down at her and smiled.
"Yes sweetheart?" He said.
"Why were you and Mommy fighting last night?" She asked.
Robert scrunched you his eyebrows confused.
"We weren't fighting baby," he said kneeling down.
"Yeah you were. There were loud noises coming your room last night. It sounded like Mommy was hurt," she said.
Robert's eyes widened as he thought about what happened last night.
"N-No baby. Mommy and I were just watching a scary movie. That's why she was making all those noises," he said.
"Oh ok," she said with a smile.
You came out to the backyard and Allison ran to you.
"Hi Mommy!" She said.
"Hey honey," you said kissing her head.
"What scary movie were you and Daddy watching last night?" She asked curiously.
"What scary mo—"
Robert hurried to you and whispered in your ear what had happened and your eyes widened.
"Um... Scream," you said.
"Ohhh... you don't have to be scared Mommy. It's not real," she said.
You chuckled and nodded.
"Ok Allie," you said.
You set her down then she hurried off to go play.
"We need something to drown out the noise," Robert said.
"I told you to turn the TV on dummy!" You said hitting his chest.
"Sorry!" He said.
