Chapter Twelve: Wake up

Chapter 12

-Diablo Martinez-

A whole 3 days has gone by and it's now Monday evening. I have eyes all over the whole hospital where Talia is being kept. Her doctor which also works for me, updates me at all times on how she's doing. There was a minor problem and she had a seizure. It scared the hell out of me but she's strong.... I know she'll be okay. Doc said she took a hell of a beating but its nothing too serious. She had a fractured wrist and bruises over her whole body. Her wrists and ankles were badly bruised because of how tight they tied her. I was told she nearly got raped and that made my blood boil.

This was all Diego and his fucking bosses fault.We kidnapped him and we have him at one of my warehouses. We forced him to phone his family and tell them that he needed some time alone and that he'll be staying with a friend for the time being. We have tortured him ever since we got him the night Talia got hurt and he confessed to helping his boss the Russian mafia leader . There is so much she doesn't know and this is all going to break her.I'm not sure how she is going to handle this and I have no idea how I'm going to tell her.

Doc sent her Aunt and Diego's parents along with a little girl home, apparently they were her last visitors.

Now im finally going to see her.

"We lucky Diego brought her in the time he did. She had internal bleeding in her head and that caused her to be in a coma for so long. By the end of the week we expect her to wake up so in a days time you'll be able to talk to her."  Doc explains to me as we make our way to the room she's in.

"Thanks Doc."

He nods and opens the door for me to enter before he leaves us alone.

I walk to the side of her bed where I see a chair is placed. I sit down and i gently hold her hand. Her face is beat up and the marks around her wrist are getting abit lighter.

I know she can't hear me but I decide to talk to her anyways.

"Talia I'm so sorry I wasn't there to save you,I'm sorry I pushed you away. I thought it was the right thing todo amor. I wanted to keep you safe. I know you going to be mad at me once you wake up but I'll be here for you no matter what. That's a promise. It was so hard staying away from you. The awful things I told you was a lie. I love being around you. Hearing your voice makes me happy ,you someone I'm afraid of losing and it scares me knowing you might hate me after all this but I'll fight for you and I'll protect you."

My eyes widen as I saw a the monitors beep and her body started shaking . The nurses came bursting through the door but I couldn't take my eyes off her. Did I cause this to happen?

"S-Sir you n-need to leave" the nurse stutters knowing very well who I am.

I sat outside her room and i stayed there knowing Talia's aunt won't be coming in for work at the hospital because they gave her time off knowing her niece was here. Her aunt would only come the next evening so for now I stayed ,hoping she would wake up so I could know she was okay. Grey and Damon stayed with me. We stayed whole night and it was now morning. Grey and Damon were snoring like pigs in the waiting room so I got up and sent one of my men to buy us coffee by the time he came back Damon had woken up.

"You okay bro?" Damon asked me with his arm on my shoulder.

"Yeah I'm okay." I say
