5 months later.

I draw the curtains and stumble my way down stairs. at the bottom of my stairs I grab a can of beer from the frigid. 

I hear foot steps following me... it's my beautiful wife Charlotte.

"are you okay babe,"she says softly.

"no," I turn around and stumble into her arms and cry.

"I just want my princess back," I sob. my sobs are getting louder.

I walk into the kitchen and pick up the news paper from the door. the date is the 15th of January 2017.

it's her funeral today.

I run upstairs crying Again and get dressed into a blue suit.

I promised her I wouldn't wear black. I promised.

I walk up to the beach and sit down beside her ashes. Charlotte stands behind me.

"she died in a car crash... in the ambulance." I say while a tear streAms down my face.

"oh," Charlotte walks away and says "ill wait in the car,".

I stand up and walk softly the the front of the sea.

"this is what you have always wanted to do... come to the sea," I look up to the stars. I open my hand out and drop the ashes.

that's the last time I ever held my daughter in my arms.
