chapter 2 - new kid again

I walk into the house and preview everything it's kinda dusty, good thing my mom got us an interior designer I asked her to make everything in my room black, but some parts white and a little grey. I leave the house and decide to look around I spot a coffee shop called " Monet's " I walk in and see black booths, a brown counter, some guys running the place and a secluded booth in the back, I decide to sit there but I ordered for a latte first, I sat there waiting for my order when a brown headed tall guy walks in he was with is friend I guess a tall black haired guy they were laughing and they went up to the counter and they were chatting with him, I guess they were friends, wait stop Hannah! We don't ogle at boys!! I see one of them staring at me, what's his problem then I catch his friend pointing at him am distracted by the waiter giving me my latte and he tells me it was already paid for by the guy in the other booth , I hate it when guys pay for your bills. My thoughts are soon interrupted by him walking up to me.

Hannah " Can I help you "

Max " Hey am max, and you are... "

Hannah " Not interested in this conversation "

Max " Huh, your sassy , but really what's your name "

Hannah " Hannah, Hannah Rivers "

Max " You seem new here, who comes to Monet's and only orders a latte "

Hannah " And who walks in random cafes and pay for people's bill without asking "

Max " Any decent person I guess "

Hannah " Sounds nothing like you "

Max " That's not how you should treat the person who just payed for your bill "

Hannah " Lucky for me , I didn't ask you "
And then his friend joins us

Harry " I notice some tension here "

Hannah " Great another giggle buddy "

Max " I've had enough of you "

Hannah " Am just getting started "

Harry " Okay this is something, am Harry Reid and I attend machington high school "

Hannah " Am Hannah and so do I "

Harry " We hope to see you tomorrow "

Max " Not really "

It looked like we were going to fight actually before his friend dragged him out, this is my first day but I already hate it. I head back home and the designer said we had to stay in a hotel before her and her workers are done redecorating, great were back in the car.

Alex " Where'd you go so early "

Hannah " A coffee shop downtown "

Alex " Huh, alright I guess "

We arrive at the sunny side up hotel, weird name I guess we get settled in the hotel it was huge , the walls were white,well everywhere is white,they had a pool and a basketball court,and a gym,it was alright . Am already exhausted 😩 I take a hot bath and change into my pj's and feel asleep.

It's my first day in school again, hopefully this is less worse than the last. I take a shower and get dressed in a black crop top and a white Palazzo I tie my hair in a ponytail, I wave my brother and mom bye going to school from a hotel is weird, I stop at Monet's to grab a muffin and a latte, and start my walk to school I plug in my earphones and play balling by roody rich. I arrive at school and get my books and get assigned my classes and my locker well this is another school am joining. The principal shows me the welcome committee so that they'll give me a tour it was a guy and a girl. Analissa winds and Jonny drill.

Ana " Welcome to machington high!! , am analissa and you are... "

Hannah " Am Hannah Rivers "

Johnny " Am Johnny , nice to meet you "

He extends his arm for me to shake and to my greatest surprise I shook it, the girl immediately hugged me, they seem very cheerful. They showed me the cafeteria, auditorium, the lab, the music room, the football field where they showed me their star player and team captain " Max Walker " The same guy I met at the coffee shop, they also took me to the basketball court where I met the MVP of their basketball team and team captain Harry Reid I must say I expected them to be exactly what they are jocks , classic jocks.

Anna " I hope you like Machington, because we already like you "

Johnny " Don't mind her, she's full of love "

Hannah " Not what I expected, but sure the schools alright "

Our conversation is quickly interrupted by the cheerleaders running across the halls and cheering the whole school, their captain Madison Lee, Maddy Lee is what Anna called her did a slipt and tumble in the middle of the Hall, that's when the football team dashed in from practice and Maddison or Maddy lee 🙄 flipped her way till she reached Max and she placed a kiss right on his lips, wow so he has a girlfriend. I wish this didn't bother me but surprisingly it did.

Maddy " Let's hear it for the team captain of the football team and my boyfriend max walker " !!!
And the whole school cheered for him, wow this must be something

Max " Thanks so much machington, let's hear it for our newest member of machington, and the newest senior in my class, Hannah Rivers "
He points at me and surprisingly the crowd goes wild I guess they must worship him and his girlfriend once again kissed him. Anna pulls me by the side.

Anna " You've already made an impression on Max "

Hannah " I barely know him "

Johnny " Well stay away from him and his arrogant ass "

Anna " Don't mind him, he's just jealous he didn't make captain of the football team and he quit "

Johnny " Yeah, yeah am in baseball now and it's way better "

Hannah " Yeah boring but better "

Johnny " Very funny, Anna "

I catch myself laughing with them, well I just made my first set of friends that am going to move from, this should be fun. I catch max smiling at me, I must say he's kinda hot. I leave the halls and head to my locker to get some stuff and someone bangs the locker close to me.
