the boys sat in Robert's bedroom as heavy rain poured outside
It was about midnight
"Yo Ale keep it down bruh" Roshaun shouted, annoyed at the boy trying to fight Mattia
"Kairi come save me" Mattia said as he faked his death
"No, Mattia don't die yet asshole!" Kairi said as he got on top of Mattia and slapped him a few times, giggling as Mattia started to tickle him
"So when are you both coming out?" Alvaro said out in the loud chatter-filled room
"What? Who- us?" Kairi pointed to himself while he laid on top of Mattia, playing with his hair
"Yeah, no shit. Everyone thinks ya'll are gay" Ale said joining the conversation
"Me and Kairi are homies. I would never ever date this lil bitch" Mattia said and Kairi disappointingly got off Mattia, slapping him again
"You rat fuck! I'm a good guy, you just don't deserve me" Kairi spat as he got up from the floor and plopped on the bed
"Are you both indirectly coming out?" Robert wiggled his brows with a smug smirk plastered on his face
"Fuck no, keeping assuming" Mattia ruffled his hair and sat up, going on his phone
"Guys Cynthia wants to meet me"
"No, you're not going" Kairi crossed his arms, anger slowly rising in him
"Why the fuck not dude! She's hot" Mattia snapped, annoyed by his friend's sudden change in behaviour
The other four boys just watched the two argue
"Okay then go" Kairi said as he grabbed his things
"Where are you going?" Robert said as he grabbed Kairi's arm gently
"My mum texted, she want me home"
His mum was gone for a good few days away with maiya tho
"Mattia drop Kairi off" Roshaun said as the others nodded
"No, I'm good" and with that kairi walked out
"It's raining Kai-"

Cold breeze rustled through the leaves and Kairi shivered, feeling absolutely frozen since he had only been wearing a shirt and some shorts which were now soaked from the heavy rain. He walked, looking around only to see not a single soul in sight through his glossy eyes. rain drops falling only making the scene blurrier
He sighed, letting his tears out
Does Mattia hate me?
He felt suffocated.
The thought of his first love and bestfriend hating him made his heart shatter, though he knew Mattia would never but there still was a little bit of doubt
Maybe he was just being over dramatic
Mattia likes Cynthia, why would he listen to Kairi?
Kairi flinched as he looked at the car pulling up besides him
"Get in dumbass, I'm taking you home" Mattia looked at Kairi his face completely changing from a frustrated one to concerned
"Bub, what happened?" Mattia quickly got out the car and headed towards the smaller boy
"N-Nothing happened. Go away" Kairi was sobbing at this point but even he, himself didn't know the reason
He didn't have the strength to push Mattia off when he grabbed his waist and gently held his chin

"What happened, baby? Please tell me, is it about the Cynthia thing?"
"No! N-Nothing happened, Mattia" Kairi sniffled as he hiccuped, gasping for air as if he was having a full on asthma attack
"Kai, let me take you home"
"Matti let's go there, please?" Kairi looked at the taller boy who was clearly deep in thoughts
"Hm? Sure" Mattia nodded and kissed Kairi's forehead before getting in the car, Kairi doing the same

The two teens walked into the abandoned playground. Mattia held Kairi's hand firmly and took him to the equipment, climing up the ladder which led to a concrete red roof
Kairi huffed as he sat down, his eyes aching because of the tears he let out. Kairi smiled as his back laid on the red bricks, closing his eyes
The rain still pouring heavily but neither of them cared
Mattia just sat besides him, admiring him
He had to admit Kairi was gorgeous, his subtle feminine features, luscious locks, long lashes fluttering and plump cherry red lips
He was so gay for Kairi that it wasn't even a joke anymore
But obviously nobody should know that
Mattia laid down as well and wrapped his arms around Kairi's petite waist
"Bub, please tell me what happened" Mattia said it a soft voice as he ran his fingers through Kairi's wet hair
"Matti can i ask you something?" Kairi responded, ignoring Mattia's question
"Sure, what is it?" Mattia asked, his brows slowly furrowing
"Do you hate me or something?" That question was so random and just plain on unnecessary but Kairi still asked because he just had to get it off his chest
"Wait what?" Mattia looked straight into Kairi's brown orbs with sorrow of how the little one thought of him
"Do i have to be very honest?" Mattia asked, feeling his heart pumping out his chest
"Yes please, I'd like that" Kairi nodded and fidgeted with his fingers not hoping to hear what he was thinking
Maybe he does hate me, i knew it
"Not at all. I actually am quite in love with you, really." Mattia looked away, his cheeks flushing to a deep crimson as the smaller besides him looked at him in shock
"Y-You love me? As in friends or more?" The wasian asked a he sat up, still looking at his bestfriend with his eyes wide
"More. I love you more than a friend, kai but it's fine if you-"
"I love you too, Mattia"
Mattia looked at Kairi, now his eyes wide and slowly a smile crept on his face. He wrapped his arms around the petite boy. Kairi straddled Mattia, the smile of pure joy never leaving his lips once
"Can i kiss you?" The taller asked as he cupped the face of the boy on top of him
"Yes please do" the shorter responded and shortly after felt soft lips on top of his
It was surely a sight to see, just like something in movies
