I said to myself"this is gonna be a long ride"
The distance from New York City to Ride is about 12hours I guess.it was quiet,so plugged in my airpods to listen to my jam,it gives me piece of mind and taking me down memory lane,I asked myself how did I get here? I need to change something!
Do I feel bad?why did I take mum's side?
Well,think deeply about the it,Dad deserved what he got,he had been given lots of chances which he took for granted.

He never showed care , affection and give attention.He believes money could buy everything.
He was good at nagging at mum ,reminding  her of how useless she was because he was the one who paid the bills.I want to believe he hits her but mum is good at covering up his mischief.
One rainy day,I ditched school at early hours to go rest at home,I heard her screams as he was throwing things at heral and hit her so hard.
I quietly ran off to the woods,cool off ,consoling myself to never let it get to me.i couldn't save because I would end up being blamed, when I asked her about the cut she snubbed me.
Tears rolled down thinking about that moment as the cool breeze blew my brunette hair.
"Tia Tia are you okay"

Oops I think I heard my name as I snapped out of my thought

"Yes mum" I said

"We will be fine,I can assure you that
Or are you thinking about your dad
He will be seeing a therapist too"

"Yes thanks to you ,he should be in jail right now for always hitting you".I said
"Shut up he is still for father"
"It's helping he is calm now
Send him to Jail won't help, you can't blame him considering his childhood experience, we don't wanna talk about that now.
I'm happy I'm letting go"
"You should" She said with her hazel eyes looking into mind.

Yeah you're right I replied

She said I should give him a chance to be a responsible father as he has failed a husband .She talked about how she would start making money by herself and be independent.

We laughed as we sang to the song playing on the stereo .

Seriously I had no idea when or how I slept off.
All I know is I was given a little Pat and I heard a whisper" Welcome to our new home Tia".

I think Tiara should give her dad another chance?
