The beginning

Luz Noceda was sitting in the owl house, reading the latest book from "The good witch Azura" series, out loud to king as he was starting to fall asleep in her lap.

"She blasted the evil beast with her most powerful spell, freeing her friend from its grip! 'Evil like you shall never win against the me, for I am, the good witch Azura!' She shouted, making a quick dash to save her past rival, before she fell into the pit of lava below. 'Azura? What are you doing here, where did the beast go?' She questioned before Azura gave her a sweet smile, 'it's gone, if you hadn't weakened it, we would both be dead now' the two shared a kind smile, knowing something else was forming between them- DID THEY ACTUALLY JUST HAPPEN?!"

Luz had stood up, staring at the remaining pages, "Santa Mierda, they totally just happened, MY SHIP CAME TRUE!" She exclaimed, as king, who had fallen onto the floor, sat up, rubbing his skull, "what, no! Azura should have ended up with that dude from book 3!" Luz gave him a mocking laugh in response, having argued over this several times.

"You two, shut up, iiiiiit's TRASH DAY!" Eda announced, opening the door to the human world, as owlbert dragged out a large brown bag, opening to see the things he collect this week. Luz looked at the pile, recognizing one of the things, a small Azura doll, with her name embroidered on the hat.

She grabbed it, and looked at it, staying silent, Eda and king looking at each other then back to Luz, not understanding what was happening, "....she threw it away I guess." Luz said, tears forming in her eyes.

"What is it?" King asked, walking over to her, trying to jump up and grab it. "It's a doll I had since I was little, and I guess she thought I wouldn't need it because of the summer camp." She said, walking over to her bag and putting the doll carefully into her bag.

"I still don't know what this summer camp is, but why would that make you, not want your doll?" Eda asked, looking at spray bottle, squeezing the trigger accidentally hitting herself in the face. "Because it was supposed to get me to think 'inside the box' after an...incident at school" Eda nodded, squirting King with the spray bottle as he tried to go through Luz' bag.

Eda looked at the bottle amazed, making Luz laugh, taking the bottle, "that's not all it does." She said, turning the head, making it spray mist. "I'm keeping this!" Eda yelled, taking it back from Luz. "So, what happened at school that got you sent here?" Eda asked, setting the bottle on top of the fridge where king can't get it.

"I did a book report, and no one appreciated the amount of effort it took to bring to book to life, I got real snakes and everything!" Eda laughed, sitting down on the couch, "did the snakes get out into the school?" She asked, calming down a bit. Luz nodded, causing Eda to start laughing again, as it slowly became a silent laugh, tears coming out of her eyes.

She took a deep breath, composing herself, "oh that's hilarious! I did the same thing at Hexside, but with ghosts, and it wasn't an accident." Luz froze, remembering what she had to do today. "Oh jober, I have Azura book club with Amity today!" She yelled, grabbing her bag and running out of the house. "Carful, the clouds are looking pretty gray-and she's already out the door."

She finally got to the Blight manner, approaching the gates, that where slightly open she walked through them. The manner itself was rather beautiful but the dead trees surrounding it creeped her out, it felt as if they where somehow watching her.

She knocked on the over sized doors, and heard two people arguing behind the door, followed by the door being opened by Emira. "It's not hard Edric, just open the door instead of making your legs look broken!" She yelled at the couch, where a louse "meh" was heard.

She rubbed the bridge of her nose, before looking at who was at the door. "Oh, hey cutie, how can I help you?" Em asked, causing Luz to slightly blush at the nickname. "Amity and I where supposed to talk about the new Azura book, is she here?" Em nodded, stepping aside, letting Luz walk in.
