part fifteen

the class went on and before you knew it. period one was over. the bell rang and the teacher dismissed the class, "don't forget to complete what you didn't finish for homework, you have been dismissed".
your next class was music, your favourite subject. but you then remembered that you had an assignment, which you were usually okay with... but your partner was jungkook...
you, yeri, kaila and eunwoo walked into class and took your seats.
the teacher walked in a few seconds later and proceeded to greet the class. "you may go on with your assignments, and i suggest that you and your partner meet up and practice outside of school for better results" your teacher said.

with that everyone got up and sat with their partners. you didn't move, instead jungkook came to you. "hi.." he said hesitantly, you didn't respond.
"y/n" he said trying to gain your attention, you completely ignored him as you opened up your laptop to get up the plan for your music practical.
"so you're going to sing ed sheerans part and i'll sing beyoncé's, and we can conclude the song by singing the last chorus together" you said, your eyes still glued to your laptop screen. "okay" he said, "cool, now let's go and ask miss if we can go to the music practical room. you said proceeding to get up and walk over to the teacher.

jungkook sighed, he really stuffed up this time. he regretted everything he did, but it was because jungkook was starting to gain feelings for you and he didn't want to like a girl, he didn't want to fall in love.
because the last time that happened, he got hurt. more than anyone could ever imagine.
that's why he had created this hard shell around him where he trusted no one and became so cold.

no one knew the real jungkook, the one that had a soft smile and big heart. because he never let anyone see that part of himself.
but then you came along, and jungkook realised that he was starting to open up to you, like he did with his ex. and that didn't end up too well.
so he tried to do things that would make you hate him, so that he could know that you two had no chance together, and it was working.
but it hurt him everytime that he bullied you, he didn't exactly like hurting your feelings, but for him to get over you... this is what had to be done.
he got up and followed behind you, slowly strolling down the empty hallway......
