Lance Angst One Shots

Happy Birthday

Okay, so I am doing a Birthday Angst just because I can't help it.

*Lance POV*

"Happy Birthday, Lancito!"

"Mama! Gracias! "

"Lancito! Blow out your candles!"

"Papa! "

I sit up at the table and blow out the candles while everyone sings Feliz cumpleaños.

"Gracias a todo!"

"Lance wake up!" I heard Pidge say to me, as she shook me awake.

"Mh..? What is it Pidge?" I asked as I sat up

"Get your lazy ass ready and come to the control room, we've been waiting," She said as she left,

"Alright," I said as I stood. I look at my dresser and see the picture of mi Familia and I. I sighed at it and felt tears form in my eyes. I quickly blincked them away and got dresses in My paladin outfit.

Once ready, I left and went to the comand room to see everyone there already. I put on a fake smile.

"Hello everyone!" I said, trying to stay cheery,

"You're late," Allura said annoyed

" I'm aware," I said as I sat at my set crossed legged.

" Why?" Shiro asked this time

"Bec-" Coran came in and intorupided me

"Because its tradition that the birthday kid gets to sleep in!" He said as He stood next to me and place his hand on my shoulder.

"Happy Birthday Lance!" He said with a bright smile.

"Thanks Coran," I said

"Whatever, lets get on with this," Shiro said

Coran looked at them disappointed. I pat his hand that was on his shoulder and smiled at him.

Coran left my side and Allura started to talk about whatever she does. I payed attention kinda but I was really trying to remember home. Growing up in Cuba with beaches everywhere and family around every corner.

I sighed and looked out the window at the endless space. Endless darkness. Endless endless.

I really want to be home.

I know,

You are a protected of the universe, missing a couple of birthdays to save millions is an amazing acomplishment

That doesn't stop me from wanting to go home.

"Your dismissed," Allura said. I jump out of my seat and went to my room. I sighed.

I wonder how Keith is, he's been with the blade for a while,

You know, he left because of you

I looked at my room and continued walking. I walked to Blue's chamber, she may be Allura's lion, but that doesn't stop me from visiting her,

"Hey Blue!" I yelled to her, She let down her shield and open the hanger. I walked in and sat at the seat.

"Happy Birthday Lance" She said

"Thanks Blue, do you mind if I talk about home for a bit?" I asked, she wouldn't care if I did, but I always ask anyways,

"Not at all Lance, tell me about Earth," She said as I got comfy in the seat.
