So ink is being abused by her dad and stepmother. Her mother died to save the kingdom of the sea. And left her husband and baby daughter at the time 12 years later the father found a new wife and the kingdom was kept unknown. Inks new mother was being abusive and got a powerful cristal and brainwashed her father to do the same. Ink has a pet octopus in a big tank named splatter. Ink can breathe under water and talk to animals because her mother was a mermaid.
