Ok, so you know a bit more about me. Now I will tell you about today. Our parents have let us(me and Andrew) play with a small group of kids consisting of Austin(10), Lauren(9), Trig(10), Ethan(8), Kendal(10), Natalia(10), me and Andrew just about every day. Austin and Lauren are siblings, as are Kendal and Ethan. Kendal doesn't play much and Natalia just started playing with us. This morning we were supposed to go to a creek of some sort for our nature day with Lauren and Austin, But their mom had to watch 3 other kids, so we couldn't go. Instead we biked over to a neighborhood kind of far away and said hi to some friends. As we biked home we passed Ethan's house. Trig and Ethan were in his garage with Ethan's mom. Me and Andrew said hi and to meet at Austin and Lauren's house. We went home and ate popsicles and had some water; then biked to Austin and Lauren's. Ms. Kami, Austin and Lauren's mom had been watching 3 kids, as I said. William(10), Joy(7), and Jessa(5). When I got there (Andrew rushed ahead) they were still there. So was their dog, Buster. Gracie(Lauren and Austin's dog) and Buster fought some as we played on their platform swing and trampoline. We also played Maffia. After a little while Natalia arrived. We kept playing. Then the boys went to play football in the culdesac and the girls played on the trampoline. We played Dead Woman, then Duck-Duck-GOOSE, tribute to Jessa. After awhile we all went home for a lunch break. Now it is after lunch and I am typing this on my computer. It is 1:18. at 2 I am going to Blake and Bailey's house. INSIDE, 'cause we will wear masks. Anyway, I will do part two later. Below are how to play the games in bold above.
Games from this morning
Maffia-Get a deck of cards. I am going t explain this as if there were 5 people playing. You can play with 4 plus people. One person is the announcer, they do not get a card. Take out a King, Queen, Jack and a number card. King is Murderer, Queen is Sheriff, Jack is healer and number cards are townspeople. Townspeople do nothing and hope not to die. King murders someone, Sheriff accuses someone, and Jack heals someone. Announcer says to close your eyes. Everyone(not announcer) closes their eyes. Announcer tells the murderer to open their eyes, asks who they would like to murder. The murderer points to the person. Then the announcer says to close your eyes, murderer. they shut their eyes and stop pointing. Same thing with the sheriff, but they choose someone to accuse. Then healer heals someone. The murderer and sheriff are trying to kill each other. Healer saves someone from dying. If the murder or sheriff kills the other and isn't killed, they win. If neither is killed the killed person is out. The game continues until one is dead. If murder and Queen kill each other simultaneously the townspeople win. If you were wondering, Healer CAN heal themself. Announcer is the only one who knows all of what happened. They create a story and tell it, based on the events. Example story: Andrew was hit with a grenade and died. Lauren was accused of being the murderer and found guilty. Then a magical fairy came and healed Andrew. Victoria(that's me) wins, she was sheriff.
Dead Man/Woman-One person lays in the middle of the trampoline, closing their eyes. The others walk or jump around saying "Dead Man/Woman, Dead Man/Woman, come a-live, come a-live on the count to 5, 1, 2, 3-4-5, Dead Man/Woman, Dead Man/Woman, come a-live and shut your eyes." Then the person in the middle attempts to tag the other players, with their eyes still closed. NO LEAVING THE TRAMPOLINE!!!! When the Dead Person tags someone they open their eyes and the person they tagged is now dead person.
Duck-Duck-GOOSE-All but one sit in a circle. Then the one walks or runs around patting people in the circle's heads saying duck with each head. Eventually, instead of duck they say GOOSE and run around the circle. The GOOSE chases the one and the one tries to sit where the GOOSE was. If they are successful, the GOOSE is now the one. If not, and the one is tagged, the one is it again. REPEAT.
