Today Was A Good Day

Bad Day

I countinued down the street to my apartment. Today was a long day. Boss was kicking my but with all the last minute assighnments. Then my car didnt start. I bumped into a cute guy and spilt his coffe then my heelbroke on my favorite shoes. And did i mention that my house is all the way on the other side of town. As i looked at waach I saw that it was already 9:00 way past my bed time. As i countiued to walk  i realized that a car was following me. I quickened my pace which was no match to the car. Finalley it stopped and a tall man hopped out. He was light skinned and about 6' and wore glasses. He was dressed in a navy blue suit.

"Exscuse me miss"

I turned an dlooked into his intreging brown eyes.

"Yes?"

"Well i did happen to notice that you were walking with no shoes in the dark so i wanted to make sure you were okay."

"yeah i'm fine thank"

I turned and began to walk again when he called me again.

"yes?"

"well i know this may sound crazy but would you like a ride?"

H asked quickly.

"I well....I don't really know you like that"

"I wont bite i promise im just trying to help. Plus that wouldn't look good on my record"

I gave him a quick smile before nodding and getting into the car. I gace him the addres and looked outt the window.

"So what your name?

"Jordan, but in the biusness world i'm Tatiyanna. Waht's yous?"

"well i'm Mlik and in the biusness world i''m Malik"

I giggled and he face palmed himelf.

J: well thanks for the the ride Malik

M: suer let me get that for you.

He ran over to my side and opened the door for me. i ave him a low thank you and proceeded o my apartment door. I unlocked the door and turned to face Malik.

J: thanks again for the ride it was very generous of you and if their is any thing i can do to repay you just let me know.

M: well your number would be nice.

I blushed thanking my dark skin for prohibiting him to seeing it. I wrote it on the back of  my company card and gave it to him.

M: goodnight Ms.Jordan

J: goodnight Malik

I turned and went inside. What a day.
