Today Was A Good Day

The Lunch Date

I woke up and began my morning routine. WHat i finished i creamed mt body and picked out a outfit for work. I pulled out my Navy blue plazerand skirt with  cream blouse and my navy blue heels. I curled my hair and went downstairs to start my coffee. I also called up my towing company to tow my car to the shop and bring a rental to my house. I went back upstairs and put on my accesories and some cream eyeshadow and som mascra to make my lashes look longer. I grabbed my purse,work bag, phone, and coffee befoer heading to work

When i made it to work i got straight to work on my the asighnments due the next day. Surprisingly i finished two before my lunch break. As i was about to head to my bosses office to i got a call.

"Hello Rock and Roll tire company, Hi i'm Tatiyanna how may i help you?"

"Did you know that your professional voice sounds sexy?"

"Malik, how are you doing?"

"Great now that i'm talking to you."

"aww how sweet of you. What must i give this surprising phone call to?"

"WEll since you going on lunch break soon i was wondering would you like to accompany meto lunch?"

"How do you know my schdule?"

"Hun, i have eyes and ears everywhere "

"Well Mr. Stalker,  that would be fine where should i meet you?"

"Just come down in five"

"Okay"

I grabbed the papper and folders and walked to bosses offfice all the way on the other side of the building. I knocked before being granted the okay to come in.

"Hello Mr.Chaser, here are two of the orders. Mr.Lace schedled the meeting for tomorrow at 11. Ms> Kacey canceled her meeting for next week Tuesday, and the new recrutes are being trained as we speak. Is their anything you need done before i go off to lunch?"

"No, you may leave. And thank you Tatiyanna."

"Your welome."

with that i walked back to my office and grabbed my purse and blazer. I got on the elivator and found Malik at the the frknt leaning agaist his cream Range Rover. I proceeded to him. H smiled once he noticed my presents.

"Well hello Jordan/"

"Malik, i hope all is well."

"Agian, now that you are in my presents i feel amazing."

I blushed and got in. he closed the door and got in too starting up the car.

"Where are we going?"

"This old burger joint that i go to"

"That sounds delightful"

We drove in a awkward silence until we made it ti a place called Old "N" Classic Burgers. We wre seated and ordered.

M: so tell me about yourself

J: wel their isnt much to know. I'm the  fourth oldest of five.  I love kids. My favorite color is royal blue and soft green. I love to listen to music and read. And i have no kids butiwould like some.

M: well i'm the oldest of three. I enjoy reading and watcing the news. My favorite color is purple. I have a son Jr. And i want more kids. I'm ready to settle down now. I mean i'm 27 and an buisness owner so im ready to wife somone up and get a house with a big backyard.

Our food arrived and we contiued to talk about kids, Jr, work, and feet.

J: well i dont like feet. They are gross and weired.

M:  are not

J: are  too.

M: whatever

J:haha i won

M: childish

J: i know you are bit what am i.

The waitress brought our check. I pulled out my wallet but Maik be me to it. I pouted and argued but he won. We drove back to my building and Malik insisted that he walk me to office. As we walked through the lobby, we passed Jerry the job flirt.

Jerry: what's up love

J: hay Jerry hhow  ARE  you?

Jerry: fine, they treatin you nice up here causin even though i oad the trucks i still can come up here.

M: i think i can handle that.

Jerry:Hay Tatiyanna who is this?

M:Malik,Malik Hanes

Jerry:The Malik Hanes, well i'll be darn the CEO of the electricity company is here.

M:yep that's me

We continued the journey to my office.

J: well this is me, thanks for the lunch it was delightful.

M: no prob

I gave him  a kiss on the cheek and went into my office

I finished and clocked out. When i got to my car i sped home. As i began on dinner i got a phone call from my besty Key Key.

K: what's up wifey?

J:  nothin much whatchu doin?

K:watchin Kayshawn.

J: my boyfriends their?

K: yeah

J: well why dont you come over.

K: yeah sure. um can i ask you a favor

J: spill

K: well i have a buisness trip and i was wondering if yu can watch Kayshawn for me.

J: sure, i havnt seen by boy in a while anywas. How long you gonna be gone?

K: Tonight to Sundaynight and i should be back Monday morning.

J: alright i'll see you when you get here.

Once i hung up my phone rang.

M: hello

J: hay Malik

M: hay what's up?

J: nothing much cooking dinner

M: me too

"Daddy can i watch cartoons?"

A sweet voicecame through, Then an alam went off.

"Hello?"

J: hay, what's you name?

"Malike but you can call me Jr.

J: well hi Jr. I'm Jordan

we made some small talk before he gave the phone back to Malik.

M: sorry the stove was on but notthing was in the pan.

J: your fine.

M: so i was wondering if you would like to go to the park with me tommorow around two?

J: sure, and i'll bring my god son Kayshawn with me too.

M:great seeyou then.
