(Y/n) POV

Noelle and I watched, as Asta tried to feed the beasts, but gets bitten. "Hey! Dont just stand there, help me!" Asta yelled.

"I'm royalty." Noelle excused as I stood beside her. "I'll protect everyone and be Wizard Queen!" I exclaimed while walking towards him, trying to look brave and mighty. Once I stopped infront of him, another beast approached and started to open its jaws. I quickly backed away and looked at Asta while my hands were pressed together.

"You can get out of there yourself Asta!" I smiled and he actually got out of the beast's mouth by just using his strength. "You really are freakishly strong." Noelle said as I nodded in agreement. "Well, I train!"

We suddenly heard laughing and we turned to see Caltain Yami and Magna. 'They must be finished with their mission' I thought but then someone covered my eyes. "Huh? Who's this?" I asked but didnt move from my spot. "D-dont look, (Y/n)-chan!"

"Noelle-chan!" I yelled happily thinking this was a game and removed her hands from my eyes. "I guessed correctly!"

But right after her hands left my eyes, I quickly regret my decision of removing her hands and thinking this was a game. My face flushed red as I watched Magna and Captain Yami walk with no clothes and have a conversation as if nothing's wrong.

Captain Yami laughed and they seem to have finally noticed us. "Hey, stupidsta, Lady Noe, (Y/n), were back!" Magna yelled as they approached us. Noelle looked away while I covered my eyes with my hands.

Captain Yami laughed again as Magna told us we are finally going to our first mission which got me excited and shocked. Removing my hands from my eyes, three of us looked at them in surprise. 'Our first mission as Magic Knights!'

Captain Yami sat on the couch as Magna began to explain about our first mission. "You'll be hunting wild boars in Saussy Village!" We stared at him, confused.

"Wh-what in the world is this lame mission?" I heard Noelle ask from beside me and I pondered. "What are you calling lame?!" Magna yelled, offended.

"I can beat a wild boar with my bare hands!" Asta exclaimed. "Don't you dare underestimate wild boars!"

I chimed in as I smiled widely, drooling. "Are we going to eat them?" "You're not Charmy!"

As Magna yelled at us, we heard Captain speak. "We both ended up losing to the mayor of Saussy Village." Our eyes widened with disbelief and shock, surprised someone was stronger than both of them.

"C-captain Yami and Magna lost?" Asta asked. "Just how strong is he?" Noelle wondered and I began to sweat. "Is he.. dangerous?" I asked cautiously.

"It was cards." Yami said as my jaw dropped. 'So it wasn't magic nor battle?' I thought to myself. "He basically stripped us all we had." Magna then added, "And six months worth of pay, too!" I stared at them, concerned. 'Why are they bragging?!'

They continued to explain what happened between them and the old man and how we're the ones who's gonna take care of the wild boars.

Asta raised his hand. "Hi, question! That has nothing to do with us right?" I nodded in agreement and Noelle also spoke up. "Yeah! You two are the ones who lost! Then..." Noelle wasn't able to finish because of Magna. "You idiots! You're asking Mister Yami to clean up his own mistakes?!"

'Normally....you would.' All three of us thought the same. Yami then stood up and glared at us as he puffed out smoke. "Are you going to go, or are you going to die? Which will it be?" "We'll go!" We quickly answered, not wanting to die so early.
