A few days later, Noel sent me a message.

"Are you coming to anymore shows?"
"I wish."

"Can you make it tonight? I can arrange a car if you dont have a ride."

I thought about asking my mom, but knew she would probably say no. I really wanted to go though and it was only a couple hours away so I decided I would sneak out and go. I mean, who would turn down a personal invitation to a concert? Plus, I may never get the chance to see him again.
"That would be great!" I wrote.

"What's your address, I'll have a car pick you up."
I gave him the the address.
"The car should be there in about an hour. See ya later."
"Ok, bye."

I set my phone down and tried to think of a way to get out of the house without my mom finding out. I went downstairs and acted like I wasn't feeling very good.

"Are you ok honey?" My mom asked.
"I have bad cramps. I think I'm just going to go watch some tv then go to bed early."

"Are you sure? I was going to make dinner soon."

"I'm not very hungry."
"OK honey, I hope you feel better soon."
I went to my room and turned the tv on then changed and put some makeup on. I put towels under my covers to make it look like I was in my bed and then I carefully and quietly walked downstairs. I peaked around the corner into the living room. My mom was sitting on the couch watching tv. I quietly walked to front door and opened it. I held my breath as I stepped outside and closed the door quietly behind me. I let out a breath of relief then went over and stood in front of the garage so my mom wouldn't see me if she looked out the front window. I quickly ran over to the car that pulled up about 10 minutes later. I opened the back door, climbed in and shut the door.

"Kayla?" The driver turned back and looked at me.
"That's me." I smiled.

The car pulled away. I felt really nervous and really excited. I was going to see Noel in a couple hours! I looked out the window as we drove. A couple hours later, the car pulled up outside the venue and dropped me off.
"How much do I owe you?" I asked through the window.
"It's already been paid for." He smiled.
"Oh OK, thanks."
He smiled then drove away. I wasn't sure where to go since I didn't have a ticket. I decided to go to the box office.
"Can I help you?" The young woman working there asked.
"Hi, I'm not sure where to go. I don't have a ticket."
"You'll have to buy a ticket to get inside."
"But the band playing tonight invited me."
"Yeah right, sorry, can't help you." She shrugged.
I sighed and walked away. I walked over to the side of the venue and leaned against the wall and sent Noel a message on instagram.

"I'm outside, but they won't let me in."
I stood there and waited for 15 minutes before he answered.
"Be right there."
I put my phone in my pocket and walked back over to the main emtrance by the box office and looked for Noel. The woman at the box office gave me a look and rolled her eyes. A few minutes later Noel walked out the door. I smiled when I saw him and he smiled back. He put his hand out when he got close to me and I took it. It was warm and surprisingly soft.
I followed him to the door he had just come out of, passing the woman in the box office who had a surprised look on her face. I smiled at her as I walked past her. Noel lead me backstage into a small room. There was a black leather sofa, a table, and a small fridge.
"Have a seat." He said softly.
I sat on the sofa and he leaned against the table.
"How've you been?" He asked.
"Good." I smiled. "Thanks so much for getting me in."

"No worries." He answered.

We started talking. Neither of us mentioned our instagram conversations. We just talked and laughed like we were old friends. I felt surprisingly relaxed and we talked for half an hour before our conversation was interrupted by a knock. We both looked over and there was a man standing in the doorway.
"5 minutes."
"Ok." Noel took a few steps closer to the door and I stood up.
"D'ya wanna watch from the side of the stage?"
"Yeah!" I smiled.
He handed me a pass and I put it around my neck then followed him to the stage.
