Chapter 9- Wait there's a quest

(Location- Camp Half-Blood, 3.14 Farm Road, Montauk, NY)

(Dave's POV)

After I exited my cabin, it was quite a sight to behold but decided to reunite with my old friend Thalia.

"Hey, Dave- long time no see" greeted Thalia

"And you have grown-I mean have not aged a day"

"Oh, well everyone ages but my dad granted me partial immortality so I never became 16 and trigger the Great Prophecy" said Thalia- " What about you"

"Well after I died, I remember you crying over me then I realized I was dead but I clung to my mortal body until my patron whispered to come to his dominion and then I was resuscitated as the Herald"

"That quite a story, come let me ahow you around" said Thalia

"Um, you don't mind if we bypass that ugly pink cabin"

"Oh, that is the Aphrodite cabin- sure, i'd hate to my friend corrupted at- 17 years of age" agreed Thalia

(Timeskip- 45 minutes later)

"And last but not least is the dining pavilion where we eat lunch which we are about have and at sunset have Capture the Flag but considering that saber of yours- lets just say your invalidated" finished Thalia

All the sudden the bell rang and Thalia led him towards the dining pavilion but before getting there- Dave sidetracked a bit.

Well time to eat and refine my energy

At that he summoned a Dark Energon Crystal before grabbing it and converting it into a cube for consumption.

(3rd Person POV)

"Hey Dave where you been....??" stuttered Thalia

"Oh, just getting my fuel so what are you eating" said Dave

"Wait isn't that kill humans and injure a demigods?" said Thalia

"Yes-Yes, but you forget that my blood is that same liquid??" said Dave

"Oh- um your not supposed to sit here" said Thalia quickly

"Why is that?" said Dave

"It is the Zeus table and i am his only daughter" said Thalia

"Well I just drink my cube standing near you" said Dave

"Hey, Thalia- I didn't hear the sky rumble with thunder?" said Percy

"That is strange?" replied Thalia

"I think I might have scared him so now he is quiet- right Mr. Paranoia?" said Dave

"Still no thunder- wow you put a number on him" said Percy

"Oh well, see you later- Thalia- Percy" said Dave

(Timeskip- 5 Hours)

(Location- Forest of Camp Half-Blood)

"Welcome Campers to the 58 anniversary of Campers vs Hunters" said Chiron

"Campers, the rules are clear and Hunter the same applies" continued Chiron- "Let the game begin"

As Dave arrived fashionably late to the game to find that only the elderly centaur galloping towards the river and decided to follow him.

(Dave's POV)

"Greetings, Chiron how fares the game"

"And you must be-" stopped Chiron

"Keep it down- I will be referred as the herald or Blackshadow understood??"

"Completely but why not reveal your true identity?" questioned Chiron

"Cause only my patron and Olympians and you along with Thalia and Percy along with Annabeth know who I am"

"I see now" said Chiron before blowing the horn signalling the and of game and announcing the Hunters won for the 58 time.

Just then the most odd thing happened and I was watching with my own optics

"I can not be???" exclaimed Chiron

A deceased tie-dye hippy lady shuffled toward the lead hunter and spoke "Speak seeker, what is it you wish to know"

"How can I help milady" said the lead hunter

"Hunters and Campers united
Fight the betrayed one and rescue the moon goddess, one will be lost at the land with no water
one shall perish at a parent's hand and the sky bearer will fade at the hands of the Herald." Finished the Oracle.

" Everyone, back to your cabin and In five minutes- head councilors to the Big House" said Chiron.
