Guide 2: STRONG CONVICTIONS

This is a topic that I found  quite difficult to master before my relationship with God grew stronger.

Convictions.

What is a conviction?

It is having a strong belief in something so strong that nothing can make you think otherwise or change your opinion.
For example if you have a strong sense of conviction in a certain value system such as respecting elders then no,matter  the occasion, that will be something that you will never ignore and forget. So even if your friends say :
:"it's okay my mom's chilled "
Or
" you don't  need to take the dishes away my mom does that"( my mom will kill me if I say that.) 
And he/she says "yo!" (And thats when i get slapped on the face)to his parents you will still have that strong conviction in you to respect your elders.

Now that you know what conviction is let's take it biblical.
Okay so
Strong conviction in your faith and belief in God is important in these times when even the most holiest Christian can be persuaded to break ties with God or to even break one of their value systems.

Let's not ignore the fact that that can happen . And that maybe some of you reading this must  at some point in your life have been persuaded to go against what you believe. Maybe its  watching something inappropriate or I don't know stealing a candy bar from seven eleven. What ever it might have been , things like that happen,but it is a really big problem if that happens with your convictions of God.
If someone  can persuaded you to go against your word.
Or to go against God and what you believe about him.

Then you have something to work on. And now I don't expect you be able to fix it so easily because it is not something you master easily. It is only easy when you are in an tight walk with God and you will never let go of his hand.

And this is why I am mentioning this because as a part of walking with God you have to be strong and stick to your convictions.
If God cannot trust you to stick to your convictions and beliefs. Then he is not able to put you  into the world.He cannot use you if you are not strong in what you stand for. Which in that case is  the Gospel that you are trying to teach to people.
Because you see if you leave your convictions with God it means that you are walking with the world. And:

If I walk with the world I cannot walk with God. Period.

So why do people struggle to stick to their beliefs?
What is it that makes you easily fall  into the trap?

The answer is...

You yourself are not sure of it yourself . (Get it?)
(Of course you do you are smart)

Someone that does not know enough about what they believe is bound to be pushed off balance. You see you cannot teach about something that you are not fimiliar with. 

Some Christians  only starting their relationship with God sometimes forget that they are not yet ready to go and exhort to the world.

Yes I know you feel so urged and spiritually hyped that you want to help someone but let me warn you that is a highly dangerous thing to do if you are not properly equipped. That ugly Doos (an Afrikaans slang word for idiot pronounced : Doo-wis now say it quickly : dwis  just with more ooh. I'm really bad at this I hope you got it . Next time someone annoys you call him/her a Doos ,they wouldn't know...-No dont just joking you are a child of God be the  better person ignore that. (Nah just do it God won't mind.)) The Doos being satan,is waiting to take down the weakest of the lot . So if you are still a trainee Christian i suggest you first spend more time with God and studying.

Someone that is not properly equipped does not have enough back up to go with what they are teaching and doing. You see if you know why you are doing what, you are most likely to stand strong in what you believe. If you know not just what Jesus did and what God said but also why . You will then understand the meaning and purpose behind your actions and belief. Someone that is told not to smoke but not sure why they must is most likely to end up being easily persuaded to smoke.

You see what is not enough if  you don't know why. The doos is most likely going to look for the proof you have behind what you say. Remember that doos might be the bad guy but he is not one of those dumb bad guys ( ignoring the contradiction that I just called him an idiot which I believe he is.) The only reason he is dumb is because he walked away from Gods' glorious love and paradise to pursue he's own greed.(the idiot thought he could become God!.) Other than that the dude is a spiritual james bond and also a really good phycologist and illusionist not to mention liar- But anyway!

What I'm trying to say is don't fly if you have baby wings and don't sing if you're inexperienced (ain't nobody goin' listen to that) would you listen to someone that doesn't have their facts straight? No. Obviously. That's why you need to check your facts before you share your snacks ( this is where I dab... I know it lame...whatever..) now if you can sort out all that and be prepared and actually have understanding of what you believe no one can rock your boat. Because you have enough proof and strong faith in what you believe. With all of that you build a really strong conviction and you walk through life and with God with that strong conviction that nothing can try to break you because you know all your facts of what you believe and why you believe what you believe.

And just like that you are able to confront people that would try to question you  for example: about why you don't want to deflower yourself (lose your virginity )  and you will be able to say that you don't believe in breaking it before marriage.why? They ask you, because it goes against what God says and His will, and I will stick to what he says.(if you say because im not allowed to then you just lost the battle ,and thats the wrong thing to say, you only say that if you dont believe what you believe)why? Because he loves me and so I love Him. ( you might even quote John 3:16)what does this have to do with God? Bruuuuu, everything. If you are able to just tell someone that without hesitating  then I'll be proud to say that you have a strong belief in what you believe and you understand why you don't want (not not allowed) to deflower yourself  and who you are doing this for. And you have a strong conviction in your faith and in following God's way. That's just a small example of a bigger picture. But you get it (i hope so).

Strong conviction like I said is like standing strong in what you belief and no force can push you off that belief.
And the only way you can truly get it is if you actually;

BELIEVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE

That makes it easier to walk with God.

With that I leave you my brother's and sisters I hope you think on this. I'm doing this only for your benefit so that we can all grow stronger in God together. Equip yourself and know your facts so that you can stand strong in your conviction.

In these Last Days it is highly Important. Remember this is where the true Christians or let me say believers will be seen, persecuted  and be tested. And those that are really true will not lose sight of God (my Papa). Make sure that in these times you run with endurance the race set out for you in righteousness committing no sin and always repenting and rejoicing in the Lord so that  when he comes you are seen blameless in His sight.

Sorry this update took long , i had data issues . You know the struggle people. Like they say in Afrikaans (jy het die maer dae  en die dik  dae) translation :you have the thin😢 days and the fat(💵💲) day's. And like the bible says there's a time for everything , there's a time for data and theres a time for no data☺
