Favorite Story No. 6

I remembered the first time that I read this: I was addicted because I can't stop reading it even when my phone was dead batt. I was so frustrated back then because I want to finish it asap. I think it took me days or weeks before I finished it. And  I swear there were nights that I didn't sleep and days that I was just on my phone screen.

Rereading this again had the same effect on me. It was taking me until the wee hours of the morning just reading.

I had read a number of action stories and I can say that this is one of my favorites.

Who would not like Maxpein Zin Del Valle any way? She's the very definition of "maangas" and "hambog". And I think that we have loved her for that. I can say that she's a complicated character. She's short tempered and could be easily angered. She has a lot of issues especially with her family. She's too secretive and mysterious. It's not easy to get along with her especially if you  don't know her. But her character is actually very defined. I mean do you know any character as complicated but unique as hers? Yung character na mayroon siya ay nag-iisa. Maangas, hambog, mayabang pero mabuting tao.

And then there's Deib Lohr Enrile — a   childish bully. He may not be the best male character there is in HIH but I do appreciate his role in Maxpein's life. I love that he loved fully. As in bigay na bigay kung magmahal. Kaya ubos na ubos rin kapag nasaktan. He's so expressive, sweet, positive and innocent. It's like before he met Maxpein, bukod sa sakit at pangbu-bully sa kanya, puro magagandang bagay na nangyari sa kanya kasi his family is so protective of him. He's a very flawed character. That's why some people are actually not in favor of him (I think). He's not the typical male lead in Wattpad. His love is flawed and he is very childish. He's not strong, manly, dependable, and definitely not a savior etc. I think that what made him unique among other male leads in other stories.

Apart from our main characters, a lot of side characters had made this story so interesting:

The Moon Family - rich and mysterious with laws of their own

Heurt Park - Tita Mommy na gangster

Marchessa Sisters - loud, smart and pretty friends of Maxpein who had cared and loved her as family

Enrile Family - the supportive and loving family of Deib Lohr

Randall Echavez - Maxpein's partner-in-crime and first love

Rewis Family - the main villain in Season 3

Friends of Maxpein and Deib - of course from Season 1 to Season 3 they are our source of laughter and source of support of our main characters

A lot of things had made this story "astig" and one of a kind.

HIH - Season One

Season one is like an introduction of our two main characters and of all the other characters.

Nagsimula ang lahat sa pagpatid ng ating bidang lalaki sa ating bidang babae. Bakit? Dahil hindi niya man aminin unang kita pa lang kay Maxpein ay may impact at epekto na ito sa kanya. Ang simpleng pagpatid na yun ang naging sanhi ng mga susunod na pangyayaring naganap sa HIH.

Sa totoo lang sobrang naawa ako kay Maxpein sa Season one ng HIH. She's being bullied by almost every one. Bullying has serious emotional and mental implications sa mga nabu-bully so we should avoid that. At wala namang ginagawang masama si Maxpein sa ibang students ng BIS for her to be treated just like that. But despite being bullied, she won't hesitate to help in times of need even though the one who needs it is her aggressor.
