Chapter fourteen

(I forgot about this story and lost inspiration but I'm back to it 😀😂)

Y/N's POV

"Can I look through some of your pictures?" Daniel asks me as he gestures to my camera.

"Uh sure." I mumble as I get nervous.

I show him my pictures of aesthetic places or pretty things and he looks at all of them with wide eyes.

"These are insane. You are so talented." He says softly.

I smile as I feel my face get hot. No one has ever complimented me as much as he does.

"Thanks." I mumble as I look up at him.

He had a huge grin plastered to his face as he stared down at me. I wanted to kiss him. To feel his lips against mine again but I was too scared. Daniel started to lean in but then my cell phone started ringing.

"Crap." I mumble as I quickly pick it up.

"Hello is this Y/N L/N?" A lady said over the phone.

"Yeah it is." I say softly.

"I have a job for you, meet me at the cafe on sixth street tonight." She says in a sharp tone.

"Okay I'll meet you there." I reply softly.

"I better get going." I mumble as I look up at Daniel.

His blue eyes were staring into mine.

"Alright. Let's hang out tomorrow night." Daniel says in an excited tone.

"Okay." I say softly.

"I'll pick you up at 5:00." Daniel says as he smiles at me.

I nod and head out of his house. I was so excited to see him again tomorrow. I think I really like this guy. I've never felt this way about anyone. I went home and watched TV till it was time to meet that lady. I got my camera and headed to the cafe. I was near the cafe when something caught my eyes. I blinked a couple times to make sure what I was seeing was correct. Daniel kissing his ex. That can't be Daniel. I squinted and it indeed was Daniel. I felt tears form in my eyes as I quickly turned around.

"Y/N! Wait!" Daniel yelled as I quickly ran away.

"Just leave me alone. Don't talk to me again!" I scream as I run as fast as I can.

I hear him chasing after me but I continue to run faster. I run all the way home with Daniel following behind me. I run inside my house and lock the door.

"Just let me explain!" Daniel yelled as he banged on my door.

I ran into my room and sat down on my bed. Tears were falling down my face as I stared at the ground. I shouldn't have trusted him.
