Thoughts

This is just a random, unedited rough draft of some of my thoughts.

I like ankle-length dresses. They're so pretty and I wish I owned more of them. My birthday is in 25 days (24th august) and I'm definitely going to ask for some more.

Strawberries in a woven basket 🍓

Laying in a field of warm flowers on a hot summers day, letting the sun bake my skin.

Just imagine for a second. Close your eyes if you want to. There is a forest, a forest clearing, and in that is your cottage you built and live in either with your s/o or cows, goats and chickens. As you dry your herbs you have just picked from your garden, you listen to your very favourite new record on you record player. You treat your eyes to the view and your nose to the pleasant aroma of the muffins you put in the oven earlier. Your windows are wide open and you can hear the sounds of nature. You're at peace. You're happy. Everything is right.

I want a strawberry garden. Not just strawberries, maybe blackberries and raspberries, maybe even blueberries.

I want a honey coloured bike to rest on the white picket fence that I will have to surround my cottage.

I want to write handwritten letters on thick yellow paper and make my own envelopes. Some white flowers, maybe lavender, will be inside so my pen pals and friends can enjoy the scent every time I right. I'll melt purple or pink wax to seal the envelope and use my homemade stamp.

Maybe I'll start a herb garden. I'm not trying to toot my own horn but I'm quite a good cook and like to use herbs in my recipes.

When I love in my cottage all my food will be home cooked and all my ingredients will be from my animals. Not meat, of course. I'll never kill my animals, especially not just for something as stupid as a piece of chicken or pork. I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of eating animals and am considering becoming vegetarian or vegan. Well, not entirely, just not eating meat. I love bread and milk and eggs, so I don't think I could do that. I'll let my animals roam free in my garden and only make them go inside at night when the foxes come out. When my chickens have their eggs I'll put a torch to them so I can see which ones have baby chicks in them and which ones don't. I'll only eat the ones I am 100% sure have no chicks in them. I won't milk my cows or goats that much, only once a month, because I know they need the milk for their calves. Maybe I'll milk them a little more, like twice a month when their calves are grown up or don't need the milk as much as they used to.

Frogs. I like frogs.

I want to forage for mushrooms and dandelions.

I want to press flowers and frame them.

I want so much. It's so simple. Why can't I have it?

This may never end if I dint stop now. See you soon lovelies x 🍄🦋🌼
