Chapter 7 (Coarse Language)

We arrived at my house and I hope out as fast as possible, unlocked the door and invited everyone in. I held the girls back as everyone came in. Thomas came and took Anna and held her back while I was pulling Puddles back. Everyone came and said hi to the girls and I ran upstairs for a minute to get changed. I pull on my daisy dukes and my belt buckle that I got when i moved here and my favorite tank. I walk downstairs and grab the keys to my truck. I send a quick text to Sara to see if the barns set up and head out. Not before grabbing some Jacks! (Jack Daniels, type of whiskey). I put the girls in theback of my truck and yell out through the house.

"Who is ready to get their Country on!" As soon as i say that people hop in. Some in the bed and some in the cab. I turn the key to fire up my jacked up blue 4X4 chev. I drive down to the river to the barn where music is blasting, out closer to the river is a bonfire, and their is no alcohol before 10 or when the underagers head back. I bring the bottle in to Sara with everyone following. As soon as she sees me she runs and squeals.

"Elle bear! how are you, nice shirt!" She squeals. She turns to the crowd. "Ah! Ya'll must be the group Elles being talkin' 'bout! So nice to meet you! Nice rags!" She says walking up to Dylan. I mouth to him that she's a flirt and he gives a quick nod.

"Sar Bear this is... Dylan, Dexter, Ki-Hong, Chris, Joe, Jacob, Will, Aml, Blake, Kaya and Thomas! Everyone, this is Sara." They all give hi's and hello's to Sara and she gives them a hey back. 

"Everyone's down by the fire, why don't all ya'll follow me?" Sara says walking out the barn door. I run to the bar to put the Jack I brought there when I turn around to see Thomas. 

"Thanks for bringing us.." He says looking deep into my eyes. I swear those chocolate brown eyes can see right into my soul.

"No Problem, Blake seems to be liking it." I say giggling at the small boy by the fire.

"Yeah." He agrees and grabs my hand. 

"Shall we go?" I ask him. He nods and we go down. We sit on my tailgate for a bit then Jeff took him and Blake back to my house and I gave them the key. Not long after the fire was sky high with the whiskey people were putting in it.I had a Corona in my hand sitting on my tailgate alone, Thomas went to sit with the gang. Soon a song came on that I recognized. It's 'Small Town Throw-down' By three amazing artists. All the girls got up and started to dance, not me though. Sure I'mma backwoods bitch but I ain't about to show people my ass. Shit, I've had enough to drink. I start to say some not so nice words when I get close to tipsy. Soon there is a weight next to me. I look up to see George from last night! 

"Hey!" he says, this time he is drunk though.

"Hello." I say not meeting his drunken stare. I hate when people are drunk and they try and hit on me. 

"So..... later on, do you wanna take it to the barn." he says slurring every word.

"No thanks." I say plainly.

"Come on, I'll show you country girl a good time." He smiles. The Alcohol on his breath is to much to handle. 

"No." I say more sternly. He grabs my wrist as I try to leave. 

"You'll do what I say because I'm the man here and you're the woman." That's the last straw. I pull back and connect my fist to his face, knocking him off the tailgate. I load up now mostly very druck boys and a close to passing out Kaya into my truck and head off. No body mess with Ella Doyle. Shit got real back there. I help everyone back inside set beds up for everyone and went to bed myself, That was a long night.
