Kris POV

I woke up to my alarm going off at 7am. I threw it away and yawned. I got up out of bed and went down for breakfast and Susie was already there. " Morning Chocolate" Susie said. I blushed and replied " Morning Raspberry". We made nicknames up all the time. Susie then asked me " How'd you sleep?". I answered " Alright I guess?". Susie eyed me " Really?. I was going to get some water last night and I heard you moaning and talking in your bed..is everything ok?". Kris nodded, actually fine for once.

Susie POV

" Hey Kris, wanna go to dark world today instead of school?" I asked.
Kris nodded and we headed to school after eating breakfast. Kris seemed alright, so I just shrugged. We quietly walked towards the closet and opened the door. I said " Oh shit! I forgot the falling part!". And we fell down.

Kris POV

I woke up to Susie shaking me and yelling "Kris". I got up and said " Alright , I'm awake". Susie said " You were out for an hour Kris, you scared me". I immediately said " sorry". Susie answered " It's ok, c'mon let's see our friends". We headed towards the river and surprisingly saw Lancer and Ralsei sitting and talking. We ran towards them and they turned around surprised.

Ralsei POV

"They're back already" Lancer said. I smiled and spoke " Hello Kris and Susie". Lancer looked at me and nodded. I looked embarrassed but softly spoke " Uh Kris, could you can teach us how to flirt?". Susie groaned " Seriously??". I said " If Kris agrees, were all going to try it". We all looked at Kris. He simply nodded and signalled for us to follow. We were at a huge space with mainly grass. In front of us was a Hathy.

Susie POV

Kris told us to try flirt. I went first. I said " You are unbanned from free chicken nugget day?". The Hathy looked confused. Lancer said " I love my motorbike like my Mum". Hathy looked more perplexed. Kris and Ralsei looked confused as well. Ralsei tried and said " Your hair is like a waterfall" Hathy looked slightly bored. Kris walked up an done their finger gun action and said " You are perfect, your voice is sweet music to my ears". Hathy blushed and hugged Kris. Ralsei , Lancer and I all were like " WTF" but Ralsei said " An expert". Kris urged us to follow them and try again. We encountered another Hathy. This time we all tried hard.

Kris POV

I watched the gang, smirking at my skills. Ralsei went first and said " You are beautiful the way you are ". Hathy blushed. Susie said " You are amazing" Hathy smiled. Lancer said " I think you are pretty cool" Hathy smiled more. I went up to the gang and smiled " Nice job, gang". Lancer said " Yay, blueberry boy- I mean Kris, is finally talking. I smiled and we headed to Ralsei's house. He baked us some cake. I took a slice, Lancer had a slice and then..Susie shoved the rest into her mouth.

Ralsei POV

I sort of yelled " Susie! that was for Lancer and Kris too. Kris needs to eat more you know, they are pretty small compared to you. Susie groaned " sorry".

Kris POV

" Susie, we should head back" I said. Everyone agreed. They needed to go to school for a bit too. Susie and I quickly headed back.

TIMESKIP TO SCHOOL SUSIE POV

I woke up lying on top of Kris. I quickly rolled off. Kris woke up too. We were in the empty classroom. We quietly headed out. The clock in the hall read 1pm. We decided to go home, there were only 2 hours left and Kris didn't want to go anyways. We quietly ran through the hallway. We ran out the gate and back home, not looking back. At home, Kris and I met our parents. " Why are you at home?".

Kris POV

Time to ACT. I said " I don't feel well, Susie walked me home and said she'll look after me. It's a human sickness that she knows how to help". My parents weren't buying it. I had an idea. I pretended to cough and heave. Our parents looked worried and let me go to my room while Susie apparently looked after me. Susie whispered " Nice job Kris".

General POV

Several days passed.

KRIS POV

I fell asleep quite quickly. I didn't have any nightmares for once. I could finally relax. I checked my soul ❤️- Red and glowing. I woke up at 3am and got some milk. I headed back to my room and drank it. Tonight was one of my most calmest nights in months.
