Poppy Bradley was one of those invisible people, someone who people saw and knew by name, but if you asked them what she was wearing they'd give you a blank stare. She sorta blended in, didn't cause a fuss, wasn't attention seeking or rude or particularly funny, no boyfriend or even many friends at all to be honest. She worked as a realtor, sold houses for a little, family owned business, that was her whole thing I guess, deception. I mean that's what any salesperson does, dresses up something not so nice and deceives others into believing it's true, in some ways Poppy's job was absolutely perfect for her. But then they were over, done, abolished, gone.. He'd let the perfect girl go, she was probably married, 2 kids, little white fence, small town, perfect life for the perfect girl. He could never give her that, he looked up at the sky and wondered if she could see it too, little did he know, a few thousand miles away, the perfect girl who didn't have the perfect life, could see the sky and rolled over in her tiny crappy apartment, her last thought being of sunny afternoons spent under a little sycamore tree, trying to figure out algebra, back when life was much simpler, back when life was perfect...
