I paint my walls and yours are bare brick
You walk on sunshine while I'm in a ditch
Dance on air with poise and grace
I stumble slowly with dirt on my face.

We are different in almost all ways
Yet were compare almost all days
Were about as opposite as we could be
So why try to find a you inside me

I look in the mirror searching for you
I yearn to be something I'll look up too
Comparing us has made us inseparable
I'm confined to be lesser stuck behind labels

I'm no longer who I was
I'm deafened by your applause
Just a lesser version of her
I'm no longer secure

In anything
In myself

I paint my walls and yours are bare brick
You walk on sunshine while I'm in a ditch
Dance on air with poise and grace
I stumble slowly with dirt on my face.

I'm not wanted
Nor am I needed
So I'll leave it be
You need only she
