Chapter 2

You exit the building and stepped outside. You let out a deep sigh, and inhale trying your best to relax. after that you look up at the sky, looking at the big white clouds covering the sun half way. You spot a bird fly by and see how peaceful the bird looks flying

* flying in the calm clear sky would be nice, running away from having to relive something i wish to forget...*

You snap back to reality from your thoughts when the door behind you finally closes with a loud bang. You let out a heavy sigh and set your freezing hands inside you jacket and begin your 15 minute walk to see your brother as you promised.

< After your mother passed the only person you had left was your brother... he's the only family you have left, he works as a police officer and was the first one that was at your mothers crime scene from what you had heard.>

You walk in the sidewalk in the blasting heat kinda regretting wearing a hoodie when its this hot outside. You turn the corner reaching the police station, you walk the gravel "road" towards the door of the police station.

* Hopefully hes there so we can go have dinner now or what not. Last i remember he said he wanted to speak with me about something...I wonder what he wants. I mean he barely talks to me either way so i wonder what the hell this is about. All i want to do is go home and play video games to distract myself.*

you reach the door and put your hand on the door handle about to open it when you pause for a second...take a deep breath and slowly open the door, and the cold air hits your face causing you to get cold and start to shiver. You walk inside and sit in one of the chairs. Everyone knew who you were already, they also knew you hate human interaction but when someone speaks to you, you speak back. Why? well you also aren't rude about it you know.

* He knows i hate waiting for him yet here i am waiting for his idiot self to come out of his office so we can leave this hell hole they call police station a place meant to feel some type of "safe" or whatever, but all i feel is hate...they couldn't even catch who murdered a hard working women who did no one wrong...*

You snap back into reality from your thoughts and reach into your back pocket for your cellphone, you turn on your phone and type your password in, "111519", once it unlocks you open the folder with all the games you play to distract yourself. You open animal crossing and continue where you left off.

~30 minutes later~

your playing animal crossing and your so into it that you didn't pay much mind when your brother stepped out of his office and walked up to you and stood right in front of you. You knew he was there since you could see his dark brown boots, the ones mother got him for this birthday, mother..

" You know i hate waiting for you."-y/n

"Look you know i had a lot of work, i'm the chief after all"-kenji

You save the game and exit from it then turning your phone off and setting it in your back pocket once again.

" Excuses, excuses, i could care less kenji i hate waiting and next time i wont wait for you"-y/n

" I"m sorry okay! what else do you want me to say? i had work to tend to"-kenji

You slowly lift your head upwards and stare at him. You give him a cold glare and give a heavy sigh.

"Blah Blah Blah. I told you make me wait again and i'll leave i couldn't care less what you have to tell me, the only reason i'm here is you made me promise i would come after therapy. That's it,"-y/n

" CAN WE NOT FIGHT FOR ONCE IN THIS DAMN LIFE GEEZ Y/N I'M SORRY!!! why can't you accept that?!"-kenji

not again.. he always gets so emotional. i hate it. emotions why do we have them? when in reality the more people you let in your life the more they can leave you or you can disappoint them..

" shut up. Your making a fool of yourself again. It's really annoying."-y/n

You slowly start getting up and look at your brother once more. He's tearing up and you just roll your eyes and walk away towards the door, and put your hand on it and your about to open it when you turn to look at him once more.

" I'm leaving, and i won't be home tonight. Bye!"-y/n

"But-"-kenji

Before he speaks you push the door open and walk out. The heat wave hit you once again in the face, before the sun blinds you for a second. You leave. With no place to actually be you walk around all day thinking and thinking.

why can't i remember what happened that night? Is it cause i saw the killer? You whisper.

All day you tried figuring out what happened but always came out blank. Zero memory.

Nightfall's slowly and you find yourself in an ally, a dark ally way with no one around..

What in the? How did i get here? God did i space out that much that didn't realize where i was headed? Damn.

You turn around about to get out of the all but at that same moment you see someone pass the ally then you see them stop. You think nothing of it at first, but then they come back and start heading towards you.

Just great, you whisper. You keep walking but once closer to the person you notice it's a male, your scanning him looking at him directly when he pulls out a knife...

suddenly...
