It's ok?...

I wake up in a room...a black but not dark room it even has led lights.
"Oh you're awake! ", ugh... Him.
" What happened? ", I asked.
While sitting up I realize I had a white wet cloth on me.
" You skated in the rain and tripped, so I took back to my house."
"Uh, where's your parents? "
"... My mom left me and my dad's in prison... ", he says.
"... Why's he in prison?"
"... It's a small town...he needed to make more money... So... He would murder several people every week... Until he was caught. "
"... Huh! Like father like son, right? "
I said and immediately regretted it when I saw his expression...
He slowly looked down.
"S-sorry, I shouldn't have said that... " I said. Wait, why did I apologize he almost killed me? He looks back up at me curiously. Studies me...
"No it's fine. I understand. You actually were the first person I tried to kill... " He said.
"I was? " I asked.  He nods.
"Why me? "
"... Because this is a small town, everyone knows everyone. So, if I killed anyone, someone would have noticed...thats how my father got caught... And no one knew you yet -except for rose-so I took my shot. After my dad situation, everyone didn't really want anything to do with me...except most of my friends and people who knew me... "
"... I'm... " I started to say.
Still looking at me, his eyes trail down to my neck... Which is covered by my turtle neck sweater dress...
He starts to put his hand towards it. But he then hesitates when I flinched. I didn't mean to, but I'm still a little jumpy after what happened...
"Is it ok if I... "
I nodded, a little to quickly...i honestly don't even know why I'm letting him touch me though...
He gently rolls down the turtal neck. He looked hard at the purple hand marks...
I feel him slowly touch them,
His hand then start to shake.
"I-I did this to you? ", he asked in a Shaky voice.
Watching him, I nod slowly.
Then, out of nowhere he hugs me from under my arms...
" I'm... So sorry! "
'What is this feeling?... Is it... Pity? ' I thought to myself...
Well, whatever it was, itade me actually want to forgive him...
I feel my arms wrap around him.
"It's... It's okay....I forgive you..." I said.

"... It's okay.... "

(I'm so sry for the wait--that is, if anyone noticed 😭-- haven't been on wattpad for a while.
