It was early morning and we where all stretching "hey Hinata, can you push my back down" I was doing the spilts, but I needed help to push my upper body down
When he pushed I was able to touch the floor with my head "your so flexible, does it hurt?"
"No, I'm used to this, once I signed up for volleyball too late so I actually took ballet and gymnastics for that one year, it wasn't my thing though"
"That's kinda cool" I then did a splits forward fold which relived a knot in my back
"Thanks Hinata" I was done with the stretches and got up, I look to my side and Kiyoko walks in
"It's that pretty girl again, you think she's the team manager" Hinata said to Kageyama, but he was being silent today, wonder if he's alright
"Alright, let's get started" captain said, next to him was Mr Salty Giant and Yamaguchi "I'll play on Tsukishima's team to make it three on three"
"Wait is that even fair" Hinata questioned
"Don't worry, from what I can tell Udai has some great experience in volleyball, but I won't go easy on you though" I smiled confidently from his complement
"I hope you don't" I said
"Well then, the little girl, the shorty, who to crush, I mean challenge first, so hard to choose but I do know I'll like to save his highness for last"
"... hey your last name is Tsukishima, don't you have an older brother" his eyes averted away from me "I'm taking that as a yes, I'm pretty sure I've seen him a few times but all of a sudden he kinda just disappeared" he walks away from me and I just shrug before turning to Kageyama "hey Kageyama" he turns to look at me "remember, we are a team, so throw Hinata a couple sets, okay" he nods his head and we get ready
Salty Giant was serving so I stayed in the back, I see he aimed for the middle so I jumped forward saving it "chance ball!"
"Hinata!" I see him jump up high, but when he spiked he was blocked
But I wasn't all that mad, I was surprised, he jumped high, really high
"It's alright, we'll score the next one" I said, they served again but this time it was easy, as the ball went to Kageyama I jumped up
"Give it here!" the ball was right in front of me, but Salty Giant was there to, but on my right side there was an opening to spike, with one swift move I was able to get us a point
"H-how did you do that" Hinata was looking at me with admiration
"When I'm being blocked I can see an opening, like a light showing a location to spike" he grabs my shoulders
"Teach me"
"Not now, when the games done" as the game progresses I got more into it, we where winning by seven points
And it was my turn to serve
And god did that have my blood pumping
I decided to do a jump float serve, as the ball flew to the other side Daichi got prepared, but he wasn't ready for what was about to happen, when the ball got somewhat close to him it took a right making us get a point
"How did you that!?" Hinata was shaking me by the shoulders
"It's called a jump float serve, and my hands are smaller than average, so the ball is big enough for me to kinda like make it have a spin to it, I don't know it's hard to explain" I shrugged my shoulders
In the end we ended up winning, then Mr Salty was talking smack, yada yada yada, same old arguing, I did hit him in the balls though, so I got that going for me
As I was packing my bags to go home coach stopped me "hey Udai, can I have a word"
"Yeah sure" I walked to him where it was just us two "what happened"
"From that game you have a lot of experience with volleyball, more than any new starters I know, who taught you all those tricks"
"My older brother, he was really good at the sports and I followed in his footsteps, he taught me a lot of tricks and he plans on coming here soon to see me play, so when he does he can teach the team some tricks too"
"So just to be clear, your brother is The Tiny Giant"
"Yuuup! Udai Tenma, aka The Tiny Giant"
"Ah, that explains it, and your saying he's coming here to watch you play"
"Yeah, and I can ask him to teach the team, he knows how to do anything in volleyball, from served, receives, setter, spikes, etc"
"That will benefit the team significantly, well then, the team is really lucky to have you here"
"And I'm really glad I am here, cause now I can wipe the floor with that cat eye little shit" I said smiling evilly
"... say what now?"
