I looked around at the stately estate Taehyung brought me to.

"Where are we now?" I grumbled impatiently, eyeing the men standing guard at the door.

"This is where I live ," Taehyung chirped, lacing his hand with mine.

"And what are you planning on doing with me here?" I inquired, causing a crimson spray across his face.

"I-I just thought I could show you around and stuff." He tried to use a casual tone but I could practically hear his excited heartbeat from here.

"Oh, okay." I played along and we walked through slowly opening gates together. I watched as Taehyung waved to the gatesmen and held a finger up to his lips, signaling them to tell no one.

"Aww are you out past your curfew?" I teased

"Shhh," He hushed me jokingly and then laughed. I couldn't help but join in, his boyish laughter awakened something I thought I had forgotten long ago.

Once we made the long walk up the drive way and to the door, Taehyung produced a key from his back pocket and quietly unlocked the door.

"Come inside," He held the door open for me and I thanked him, stepping inside to the foyer.

It was magnificent. But what else had I expected from someone who spent thousands on a one night stand?

"Nice home," I commented as Taehyung took off my coat.

He shrugged, visible sadness passing over his faced, "It's more of a house than a home, but thank you, my father's quite proud of it."

Hmm a touchy subject

I decided not to press the issue. Thankfully, I didn't have to make anymore conversation because Taehyung began to usher me upstairs and we both walked in silence. In no time, we reached what I assumed was his bedroom.

"This is my room," Said Taehyung nervously fiddling with his fingers.

I guess he's waiting for me to open it

I opened the door to find yet another luxiourious living space.

"This looks a bit bland for your taste." I said with a small chuckle. It was meant to be a joke, but from the look Taehyung gave me it seems it hit closer to home than I thought.

"After my mother died, I changed the decor." He said, walking towards the bed, "Her favorite color was always white and well, I just added black to signify mourning."

I listened to him as I drew closer to the bed, careful not to interrupt him. Taehyung threw himself backwards, landing on his back on the perfectly made bed.

"I really wish I hadn't."

I asked him why that was.

"It's like now I feel and see her all around me, but I can never forget that she's dead all the same."

I sat beside him, the plush mattress sinking beneath my weight. Taehyung closed his eyes and leaned into my hand, when I began to stroke his hair.

"Don't stop p-please." He whimpered.

I leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "I'm here don't worry."

He just shared something. I felt it would be strange if I didn't do the same.

"When I was seventeen," I gulped trying to let the words I had been keeping from everyone flow from my mouth, "I dated a guy named Kim Seokjin. I had never been the best at studying, but after I met him it all kind of slipped away from me. We were young and in high school, and we did all sorts of stupid shit. We cut class to smoke, drink, vandalize, the basic delinquent stuff, you know?"

I continued.

"Anyway, it got so bad that Seokjin dropped out of school, and he tried to get me to drop out too. You see he was working the late shift at a couple of places and he was going to get an apartment. He wanted me to move in with him. I was tempted to and I would've to, if Jungkook hadn't been there to talk some sense into me." I lightly chuckled remembering all those years ago how my friend practically shouted at me not to follow through with the plan, "Anyway, so there I was, the second semester of senior year, with the lowest GPA any of the teachers had seen and yet I was able to pull it up enough to barely graduate. I should've tried to move forward with my life, get into any college that would take me, but Seokjin had me around his finger."

I glanced down and saw the young man 's eyes focusing on me intently.

"Anyway, I ended up moving away with him. I cut off contact with my family because they didn't approve of him. For a couple of years, we struggled, but we were able to get by little by little, until one day Seokjin came home all bruised and bloody. He told me not to worry and that he had been "initiated"."

"That would've been another good time to walk away." Taehyung commented.

I sent him a look and he apologized, telling me to continue.

"No you're right. I should've but I didn't and that's when things got worse. He had joined a little street gang and even thought they weren't the biggest fish in the sea, they were still pretty vicious. He became an alcoholic, he would drink and after he would drink, h-he would become very violent towards me."

Taehyung tried to tell me to stop, but I continued anyway.

"There would be some days I would wake up sore, at first I thought it was something wrong with me, it went on for months until one day, I saw my boyfriend slipping something into my drink. Turns out he would drug me and then invite his friends over to have their way with me while I was sleeping for some extra money. As far as I know, none of them used protection, and consequently, I got pregnant. I was too afraid to go to the police so I went to the only friend I had, Jungkook. I hadn't seen him since graduation because Seokjin said he was 'toxic'. He took me in and helped me get back on my feet, but I never told him about the raping. All I said was that Seokjin left after he got me pregnant and Jungkook never pressed the subject anymore."

"What happened to Seokjin?" Asked Taehyung.

"He was killed in a shootout between some cops when he attempted to rob a jewelry store with one of his friends, Park Jimin, a couple months before the baby was born. As far as I know, Seokjin was the only one that died, Jimin, one of the guys that had violated me, was sent to prison for the attempted robbery. And, yeah that's that."

I felt his eyes on me, fixed on my face, for what felt like forever

"Thank you for sharing with me, Diamond." Said Taehyung, cupping his palm to my cheek. After a moment of staying like that, I watched his lips draw closer. Leaning in to the oncoming kiss, our lips collided. We were both so vulnerable at the moment and it felt so good. Taehyung sat up and gripped my shoulders, gently pushing me down, and climbed on top of me.

"You're so beautiful," He groaned pressing kisses on my face, "I'm so sorry that happened to you."

"Help me forget it then," I whispered, as I began to remove his shirt.

"Anything for you, Mommy."
