Chapter 12: "Casual Day With The Bois"

A/N: So uhhhhhh, I took a "short break" from this book haven't I? welp, here's a new chapter since I felt motivated to write.

So, after my date with both Hagumi and Kanon, the peace period came for a while, no new soulmates so far, but, I am not actively searching for my soulmates, they come naturally after all, so no need to pressure myself.

Though, Shiro has been gone for the entire week, not sure because she has work to do as a god, or because of her confession, but, I am willing to wait.

'Probably had a temper tantrum or something.' I said to myself as I paid attention to the class.

It was lunch time, so I immediately went to the infirmary, and spend the rest of my lunch there, still doing love advice and stuff like that, I am suprised that i still keep going at it.

'I guess it is fun in a way.' I said as i chuckled to myself.

Though the nurse is still is the same old woman that keeps on teasing me.

I was staring blankly at my phone, until I got a notification from my phone.

"Ay yo, wanna go to the arcade later, just a casual day with the bois ya know?" Ryo texted me.

'Ah those two... It's been a while since I hanged out with them, I think I almost forgot their name...' I said as i replied a yes from his invitation, sometimes, the bois must come first.

Now that i had a plan after classes, I just waited for it to be dismissal time.

"Alright, class, that's it for today, you are dismissed." The teacher said, those words really comforts me in a way, mostly because hell is over for now.

I got my bag, and hurried my way to the arcade, I am not on cleaning duty anyway so I'll leave it to them.

'I am suprised most of my girlfriends are busy, what a coincedence.....' I said to myself since no one asked me for a date.

I managed to proceed to the arcade, it's average, what can i say, I'm not some writer.

On the door, I see them playing a shooter game, Kioshi with a blank and lifeless stare, and Ryo who is clearly having a blast, I casually approached them.

"Hello guys, you two came here early." I said to them.

"Well the teacher let us go early." Ryo explained as i nodded understandfully.

"Alright what do you wanna play Y/N?, it's on me." Ryo said to me with a friendly voice.

"Oh really, then, how 'bout this one?" I said asi pointed to a fighting game.

"Alright, I'm warning you, Kioshi is pretty good at button mashing." Ryo said with a serious tone, I was intimidated.

"Isn't it how you play the game?" Kioshi said with a serious face, not even a slight smile is seen on his face.

"No it's not..." Ryo said with a salty sigh.

'Damn, we haven't even started yet, and Ryo is already tilted.' I said to myself.

"Well anyways, I suppose it's change the loser?" I asked them.

"Yea." Ryo lazily replied as he looks ready to play.
