17- Broken promise

Taehyung's POV:

"What happened Doctor?" I asked in a shrilly voice, tears threatening to leave my eyes any minute.

"Mr. Kim, she have a brain cancer, stage 4, we don't even have a single chance."

As soon as those words left his mouth, I couldn't see anything, tears blurred  my sight, my feet went numb. My mind was numb, My heart too. The only thing I could hear was my long and deep breathes. 

Why didn't anybody told me about this?

Why everybody was quiet?

My Yoora who was so happy, till yesterday, even this morning, is dying, and I...What do I do now?

Author's POV:

"You can meet her, she doesn't have much time left." The doctor went away after saying that. Taehyung looked at his manager, who was probably in a shock himself and ran towards the ward, opening the door slowly.

The next scene broke his heart into million pieces. His love of life was laying on the bes, lifeless, however the monitor still showed the zig-zag lines indicating the heartbeat were still there. He sat down beside her bed, on the stool, wiping his tears from his sweater's sleeves. For some few minutes he just stared at her pale face.

"Honey.." He whispered, caressing her cheeks, as her eyes twitched before opening completely. She looked at him, and soon after the same smile, which she always had was once again formed on her beautiful lips.

"T-Taetae," She whispered weakly moving her hand towards her boyfriend's face, which was now wet due to the tears.

"Baby, please stay, don't leave me alone." He begged, kissing her small hand, placing it between his big ones.

"I am not. I-I am always h-here." She pointed at his chest, as a tear escaped her eyes.

"I am s-sorry for n-not telling you b-before, I couldn't s-see you s-sad, my love, thank y-ou for always mak-ing m-me feel the happi-est person alive. I can't forget you, even a-after I die, I love you." She managed to say those long lines between her ending breathes.

"I love you too, please don't go, I don't have anyone beside you Yoora." He still begged clearly knowing she can't be saved by any means.

"Uh-huh, You have, you w-will know when the r-right time comes." She said, but not the zig-zag lines kept decreasing and the time finally came when the line went straight.

-BEEP-

Taehyung looked at the monitor and back at her love, which was now lifeless, he stood up, caressing her cheeks, asking her to wake up but but she didn't even flinched, she doesn't even opened her eyes, she slept, forever...

"YOORA! WAKE UP! WE STILL HAVE TO SHOOT THE MOVIE! YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WILL, BE HERE WITH ME FOREVER, YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME, PLEASE DON'T BREAK YOUR PROMISE, COME BACK TO ME, I NEED YOU!" He shouted as the nurses came in and took him out, once he did, he didn't knew where to go.

He sat on the chair outside the ward with his head on both of his palms, crying loudly, nerves of his neck were popping out, his face was getting red.

It was too much to handle.

"Taehyung..." His manager sat beside him, placing his hand on his shoulder, rubbing it. 

"Mi young went to the grave yard, go meet her, you need her right now, don't even lie to me." He said in calm tone, making Taehyung look at him. Without wasting anymore time, he ran to the very grave yard where Mi young's mom was buried, maybe he lost the contact with her, but he never really left her, he was always there, silently caring for her and this was the reason he knew where was her mother's grave.

He ran and ran until he reached there, but the rain was pouring down heavily, it was like the sky itself was crying on the death of Yoora. But once he reached there, he saw Mi young crying to herself.
