Like I said in the description, I wrote this a long time ago, almost a year ago, so don't judge too much.

Sophie Elizabeth Foster is unmatchable. Sophie stared at her ceiling, shock numbing her. She had just come back from the match office, still in her dress. Sophie dragged herself off the bed and changed into a grey tunic and leggings.
Sophie couldn't say she wasn't sad, but she didn't know exactly why she went to the match in the first place. It was silly of her . . . but Sophie had just wanted to feel like a normal teenager . . . so bad.
But she was the Moonlark. She didn't get to be a normal teenager, she got to be the person who was supposed to bring change to the elven world and save everyone from the Neverseen. And she had no choice to be a normal teenager, because she couldn't even fit in. Five abilities. She was grateful for her abilities, but ungrateful for the pressure it brought with it. And now unmatchable. She would never be grateful for that. Because she was sure that it had something to do with the Black Swan, like how they created her or something.
Restless, Sophie got up and started pacing. She wanted to be normal. What do normal girls do? Gossip? Ugh, just because it's normal, doesn't mean it's good. Have sleepovers? That was normal, and fun. Sophie liked that idea. She exited her room and looked for Edaline. She found her in the kitchen, baking something.
"Hi, mom," Sophie said, and Edaline looked up, letting Sophie know that she had her attention, "Can I ask Marella and Biana and Linh over for a sleepover?"
"Of course," Edaline said, and Sophie thanked Edaline, and went up to her room, picking up her imparter to call people.
"Show me Biana Vacker," she said. Biana's face flashed onto the screen.
"Sophie?" Biana was clearly puzzled. Sophie didn't really call her often, she got how this might be a surprise. "What's up?"
"Well . . ." Sophie started, hesitating. "I was just wondering . . . if you . . . wanted to come over to Havenfield? For a . . . sleepover?" Sophie blushed. She had never really liked things like that, but she realized she hadn't talked to Biana in ages, and she felt guilty.
Biana smiled, "YES, totally yes!" Sophie smiled back. It felt good to make someone happy. She hung up and called Linh and Marella as well. Marella's reaction was similar to Biana's, in that she was excited Sophie was finally being a normal girl. Linh was a lot politer, with a "yes, please, that would be lovely," Sophie hung up, smiling. Even something as small as this felt good. Normal.
