It all happens on the village of sokenon where a boy is cleaning the floor of his uncle's bar,accidentally he spills dirty water on a customers shoes,'' am so sorry sir I didn't mean it '' he takes out his handkerchief to clean the mess, instead the big bellied man gives him a well served hot slap straight to his cheek , the slap is heard all over the room and silence covers the room .the boy rushes outside angry sobbing he sits down a trunk that that had fallen accross the river bank . The river had alot of dirt and old papers running down it was a disgusting place to most of the villager but he liked to chill at this particular place , mostly when he got scolded by his uncle. He went inside and took his bucket and his rugg and went to the basement where he called it home .
It wasn't the best place to stay but he had no other home.he sat on his bed and wondered who his parents really were . " What's my name? ever since I grew everyone has been calling me boy , who are my parents? Why am I being raised by my uncle? Am I an orphan? He gathered himself and decided to ask his uncle about his story
It's now 5 pm everyone is out of the bar ,his busy wiping the tables ,his uncle is busy counting silver coins on the counter. "Mmmh. Uncle, who is my mother? what's my name? " His uncle stares at him with unsatisfying looks " Gounge is your real name" who gave that name to me? " Enough with the questions boy! Time to rest go we have a lot of work tommorow " Gounge leaves unsatisfied.
Huh, Gounge is that my real name or uncle just made it up . That's not my real name I hate it , I don't want it . That's not me my real name is boy . He falls asleep.
