Above all else, the mission comes first

CHAPTER 1

My eyes flutter out as I woke up by the sun rays danceing on my face . I sat up slowly scared that I'll get light headed from the mission i had to do last night . I heard dad doing the dishes in the kitchen, with only his right arm i hardly think his going to get far. I closed my white fox ears to try to block the clinching of the plates .

And yes you did hear right ,fox ears, my dad (aka shinichi Asahina) my older brother, yuske Asahina and me Mariana Asahina are all yokai,kitsune to be precise. But my twin brother didn't inherit the kitsune gein, instead he alongside my 3 month old baby sister inherited my mother's side. A type of vampire that can change into a black cat and wolf, they are also known as pure bloods . A pure blood has great power and are extremely rare ,they are rare because my uncle killed off his whole clan but left only my mother, her brother and twin cousins left. My grandma married another pure blood that you know as the vampire king in order to save there race. My mother's clan ,the Cortez's have a unique power but also annoying,the tips of there hair turns red wherever they have sex . Tragically if we have sex with other supernatural beings they are regarded as a traitor to there clan and is exalted, my mother was raped and so they made an exception to keep her in the clan and was also privileged to marry anyone she pleased, the reason why i say that is because in the Cortez's clan you are focused to marry eather your brother or cousin to keep the bloodline pure.

I stood up slowly and tied my snow white hair up ,another thing that i inherited from my dad . I put my slippers on and walked down stairs and saw lindo,my twin sitting at the table with a glass of blood . I could tell it was o-positive, I may have inherited my father's side but it doesn't change that I'm still a half blood vampire. "Good morning dad." I said " good morning kogitsune." Kogitsune means little fox in japanese. I put my hand on lindos head and kissed him on the cheek ."And good morning to you lin." " Morning Maria." He replied " and why do you sound so cranky this morning." I said " I think his a little more than angry, his pissed." Dad said i looked and lindo then at dad again " For how long ." I said as i put my arms around his neck and leaned my head against his "Apparently his neen like this the whole morning , can you please take over here Maria." Dad said I then walked over to the sink " Gladly, now lindo whats your problem. " he grunted and after a long pause he said" I'm pissed, " he looked at dad and then back at me " because l let that level -E bite you last night." " Well it wasn't that bad see." I moved all my hair to my left sholder "It already healed." I felt his eyes peering at my neck, not to see if the bite healed but as something to eat . I then flung my hair off my sholder and he looked away.

There are 3 rankings in the vampire world

1. Pure bloods like my mom and cousins

2. half bloods like me ,lindo and almost half of the vampire population. What makes you a half blood is that you eather A : are a vampire mixed with a nothing being like me, Lindow Yusuke and Ritskua aka my 3 month old sister ,or B : you have been bitten by a pure blood

3. The level E . The E means the end. If you become a level E you loose what little humanity you have left, you also loose control of your bloodlust and makes you go mad and out of control. Mostly human that have been bitten by a half blood go to level E ,but what me and my family does at the foundation is that we hunt down level E's along with mafia leaders, rapist sex traffickers, drug dealers and ect ..... well all things bad but by know you get the point.

"Well now thats out the way I have good news and i got bad news,which one do you guys want to know first" Dad said as he dryed his hands "Good news." Lindo and I said together "I thought so, okay the good news is that
Yusuke and your mom is returning from there mission." Me and lindo both smiled " the bad news is that you to are going to diabolical Academy next week." Our smiles instantly faded " Why the sudden change of heart ,you been homeschooling us ever since we could remember,and now you want to send us off to a high school." " You never even seen the school and you already have a problem with it and your mother and i had a long discussion about it and we decided that diabolik academy is the best choice, speaking of seeing it ,i scheduled a ture around the school ." " When ." I said " In an half an hour." I pulled out the plug in the sink, turned around , dryed my hands and sat down next to lindo . " Half an hour,ha, alright " I looked at lindo " I think that dads right and that he has only good intentions for up lindo ,so at least see the place before you decide your verdict, okay. " " Alright ." He said as he took a sip from his glass of blood

I didn't know it yet,but at that moment my fate was sealed and there was no going back from the path I choosen
