Above all else, the mission comes first

CHAPTER 2

After a half an hour of Samaria training with lindo , dad called from the front porch " If you guys don't come now we are going to be late."

Dad hates being discourteous because being late to a dinner party is like spitting in the face of the man who invited you

" But I haven't gotten dressed yet." I said. He narrowed his eyes at me and said " Well thats your problem you should of gotten dressed 10 minutes ago." I put on my shoes and went over to where lindo and dad was standing. I put my hand on his sholder and braced myself for the whiplash i was about to get.

In an instant we were standing/ leaning over gasping for breath, in front a huge school that looks more like a mansion. Lindo and I were the only ones leaning over sounding like we ran a marathon " Shouldn't you be use to this by know because.............. you ...teleport with dad...the most.." Lindo said " Ya but, I sometimes refuse and jump through dimensions-." " Illegally." Dad cut me off. I looked at him narrowed eyed "seriously dad did you have to say that out loud ." He just smirked and lifted his eyes brow up ( o boy your ego is not that big for you yo be looking at your daughter like that ) i thought as i rolled my eyes . A teacher/god father came through the entrance door with a few other teenage boy that i didn't recognize "Well if it isn't my fairy Godmother ,mr Adamson" I said as i got up pushing against my knees in the process " aa Maria on time as always, " he then looked at my dad and said " how did you get these stubborn kids to come here ,it must of taken a miracle to even get them out of bed ." My dad chuckled and said " Are you implying that i don't know how to raise my children." "Of course  not shinichi i wouldn't dare question your parenting." They stared at each other for about a minute that felt like an hour, lindo and i looked at each other like 'did we miss something here ' he shrugged his sholders and we both got our attention captured by a old looking man that finally broke the uncomfortable silence between dad and Mr Adamson " Well hello  shinichi what a pleasant surprise, you finally took my offer after years of waiting to let the twins join the school ."  The old-ish man said in a voice that not only sounded rougher than anyone i ever heard ,but had respect, power and intelligence.  I was mesmerised by this man and felt sort of calm ,relaxed and you can go to him for anything.  " Professor, its nice to  see you after all these years, and as for the waiting, I'm terribly sorry, i was waiting for them to be ready to go to a high school After what happened to-." He was then cut off by lindo give a big " Ahme."  We all looked at him abd he just shook his head . Dad nodded in understanding "Alright, shinichi your children are in great hands so you can restore that they will be safe." The professor said " oh believe you me i know they will always be safe ." Dad said. The professor nodded and turned to the teenagers/ group of boys  behind him " Its alright student council, i can take it from here ." They all said in chorus "Yes Sur ." They all turned around to walk one by one they all walked through the entrance door but one stopped and looked me straight in the eyes and gave me a friendly smirk and carried on walking .'seriously, hitting on me the first Day that I'm here ,really, I'm not even attractive, I'm in a tank top, black tights and a long  ash colored hoodie with no zipper that reaches down to my mid thigh and long loose straight hair that gathers on my shoulders.' Lind knocked me out of my trance by whispering in my ear "He likey." I got annoyed and pushed his face away with my hand "Shut up ,will ya." Dad chuckled in amazement "Will you take care of them professor. " the professor nodded and dad said " I'll see you guys in fifteen minutes, behave yourselfs please, take care of each other and keep each other in line ." He kissed me on the cheek and rubbed Lindos head, and with that he disappeared.  For ten minutes the professor/ principal of the school showed us around the whole school ,it was huge ,it wasn't just a high school it was also a primary school, they had two dorms ,i don't mean boys and girls, I mean ,the day class students and the night class students.  The day class students were a combination of werewolves, witches and warlocks and the night , vampires and shape shifters.  I noticed that there wasn't any youki mentioned in eather on of the classes ,i was considered.I wanted to ask about that but just as i tried to i was interrupted by a school bell . We were in the second library, they have three libraries, but the third one is used by the student council " Its dinner time." The professor said in a cheerful voice. We walked down stairs and to a familiar face /wolf. His eyes grew big and then golden ,remembering the sin that i committed of leaving the pack a few days just after Felix  was murdered
Ashamed and saddened, i looked at him with apologetic eyes. Gabriel aka gabe wanted to step forward but Jace (the one i was looking at.)  stopped him. The whole pack turned around headed for the afternoon sunshine, but Gabe ,the only one that knew why i left,turned around with water filled eyes. There was a bark filled with dominance calling him to join the pack. With what little mind link i had with the pack ,I tried to connect to Gabe ' I'm sorry.' I said ,the only two words i could get out . With out tuning back ,Gabe responded ' He knows ,we all do,forgive him for his behavior just now, you caught us by surprise.  I'll try to talk to him but i think its best you keep your distance till the time is right .' ' Thank you Gabe.' He turned his head slightly and gave me a wink .
