Zoe's perspective -

I was awoken by the sound of Tan's voice, 'Zoe, it's nearly 11, we have to go soon.' She smiled and went back to the kitchen. Jim was eating his breakfast opposite Alfie, his cackling was all I could hear. I sat down with them all and I had some fruit and yogurt with warm buttery toast on the side.

After a long chat at the table we were rather short for time, I opened up my suitcase and chose some random things from it, not concentrating on my surroundings, I'm always like that when I'm anxious. I went into the bathroom to put on my clothes, and do my makeup. I was going for a casual look with a dark red lipstick and full lashes, I find it makes my skin look more flawless. When I finished, I popped my shoes on, grabbed my bag and we headed out.

When we arrived, Jim and Alfie asked if we wanted them to stay with them, Tan replied 'I think Zoe and I might want to have some time to ourselves.' So they went off on their own to Sainsbury's, it was only down the road, to buy something random we didn't need, like water pistols and silly string or something like that. We walked in rather cautiously, I slowed down and whispered to tan, 'What if there are viewers in here?' Tan didn't seem bothered much, she was so calm, I don't know how she does it! 'Oh don't worry Zoe, um...I'll just say they're for me, but nothing happened. Don't worry.' I told her she didn't have to do that for me but she insisted, she's such a good friend. When we got the isle we were looking for, I asked which one we should get, tan picked out two and said they are probably the best ones. 'Omg! Zoe! Tanya!' I heard someone shouting, I quickly threw them back onto the shelf and turned around, red faced. It was a young girl, about 11, with her mum and gran by the looks of it, I'm not quite sure though. She asked to have her picture taken with us, hopefully she didn't see what we were buying. When she left, we picked them up again and immediately went to the check out. Tan offered to buy them but I wouldn't let her, she's done so much for me already. 'You can use them as soon as we get home okay? You can just go and take your time.' Tan said reassuringly as we walked out of Superdrug, we saw Jim and Alfie at the end of the road, hands occupied with full, orange bags, making their way towards us.

Once we were on our way home, Jim driving, next to Alfie, me and Tan in the back, singing in unison to every song we knew on the radio, it's times like these that makes me so happy to have what I have.
