I so had to browse my way around the school with the website before finding out I had Music, my favourite cos I really like to sing.
Baby you're a firework
Come on show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go up up up, as you shoot across the sky sky skyaii.
Never knew I'd meet Skylar though (sarcasm noted) *winks*
I got to school quite early in my Porsche car dad gifted me for my 17th birthday last year. I really miss him, his usual travels from place to place keeps me sad atimes, but I wonder, well he is making the money for my upkeep.
Enough about my dad. Back to school and my unknown schedule for the day. Though I checked out the school's website to see what I've got and the finding of the venue is my headache.
I kept moving and looking for room 309, all to no avail until I wasn't like looking anymore and bumped into a very magnificent figure of a guy I was drooling over, I was dumbfounded as I could oyounly manage to say, "erm... I'm...so sorrrry."
The Greek god smiled at me and helped me pick up my books and phone which fell from my hands.
He asked me my name, I told him Chloe and he said, "how nice to meet you Chloe. I'm Skylar, you can call me Skye."
"How nice to meet you Skye," I said awkwardly which made me grumble and earn a low throaty chuckle from my new friend, god Skye.
Then he began, "I guess you are new in Queensland High."
"It's obvious," I replied.
He offered to walk me to class.
"By the way, which class is on your schedule now?" He asked.
Searching for my schedule, "Oh yeah, Music class at room 309."
"Shall we? I'm going that way." He said beckoning me to hurry else we arrive late.
I just smiled, "come on, let's go."
We got to class on time before a sweet looking lady walked in.
"Morning class, I'm Ms Rose. I'll be taking you on Music. Those who think they can get good grades without studying and paying attention in my classroom, now is the time to leave."
Three guys left the class which earned some oohs and whistles from the others.
Then she continued, "those who think they can kiss up to me because I'm pretty, walk out." Yeah, she actually said it- the pretty part. Hmm...bluff.
Just one girl left the class though.
"Now let's get started."
The bell rang and she said, "have a great day class" and she walked out with her shoulders raised, huffing and puffing.
Phew, she's so not nice, don't mind her pretty face, that's just a mask.
Just then, Skye winks at me just as I was drooling while looking at his side view. Blushing from embarrassment, I smile shyly at him and grin sheepishly knowing my face has a blotchy red colour on my cheeks.
"Tough day already," he said as he gained on me snaking his arm around my neck like an old friend.
"Hey, true though. I still need to get to the admission office to make the necessary preliminary registration. The map is so confusing. Ugh!!!" I almost fell in frustration.
"Relax buttercup, I could skip football practice and take you there. Your personal tour guide at your service." He grinned looking like a movie star.
"Oh! Thank you very much."
"Don't mention cupcake. Let's go then." He smiled again and I had no choice but to bask in my newly found luck, a prince charming on my first day.
