"OH EM GEE!!!" some girl whose name Elizabeth forgot came squealing to her. Was it Vanessa? Probably. Sorry not sorry.
"OMG Elizabeth! YOU ARE THE BEST! I did as you said and now we're together! Thank you so much!" She literally screamed her lungs out causing nearly half the student body to stare weirdly at the both of them.
With a high pitched bye she turned and skipped into the waiting arms of her new boyfriend. Elizabeth smirked and mentally praised and patted her shoulder.
She hitched her bag up her shoulder and continued her walk to her locker. As she squeezed through the crowded hallways she mentally cursed herself. Nearly everywhere she went or turned, couples were there. Either they were making out, giggling or basically on the verge of fucking each other. Why oh why was she so kind as to put these people together. Sure she was glad she managed to put a smile on their faces and was glad she could help contribute to the population by getting people into relationships. But seriously! This PDA needs to stop! It's suffocating.
At last she managed to get through the crowded hallway of raging hormones and reached her locker in one piece. She shoved the necessary books into her bag and slam the locker shut.
"Sheesh go easy on the locker babe," came the voice of (drum roll please) her bestfriend, Natasha Cortson.
Elizabeth lips quirked and a smile slowly spread across her face. With ludicrously long silky hair that looked like melted chocolate (and probably smelled like it too) from far, Natasha steered Elizabeth to their next class. Natasha hair was chopped into many layers and styled delicately without a curl out of place. Her makeup was done lightly yet it stood out magnificently (in a good way of course durh) she wore a simple dark singlet sporting her favourite band and skin tight jeans. She completed the whole look with brown combat boots. To say she was the definition of hotness and seduction was an understatement.
Now Elizabeth is definitely not, in any way possible, bisexual. She found her friend extremely good looking and constantly praised her for it. Mentally of course. God forbid if she praised Natasha out loud. The poor girl had such low self esteem she would deny it the moment anyone tried to praise her. A book might have been thrown in that person's way if a full sentence managed to escape their lips. Unfortunately, that person would be Elizabeth. Poor her. But who could resist complimenting such beauty.
Elizabeth has tried her very best and Elizabeth could've earned MILLIONS if she were to make it her official profession (pfft of course this is all exaggerated...or maybe not). Elizabeth has tried matchmaking her with the most suitable bachelors she could lay her hands on. All of which were denied by the ultimately broken Natasha. Elizabeth couldn't really blame her though. Natasha had her fair share of heart breaks when she first stepped into the school and Elizabeth tried to mend those fragile pieces of her heart in futile. Sure Elizabeth hasn't succeeded much but surely the fates are going to be kind to the both of them and throw an awesomely hot, caring, loving and protective hunk in their way. When that happens, nothing was going to stop Elizabeth from pairing the hunk and her bestfriend up.

"Man, that was a drag" cried Natasha.
"Yeah, tell me about it". Elizabeth answered while shoving her books back into her locker.
They were done for the day and everyone was drained. The lessons they had were ultimately boring. Teachers droned on and on about the same thing and somehow most of them managed to get off track (much to every student's pleasure) and set loads of homework for everyone to do. Nothing interesting ever seemed to happen in Paradise High. The Queen bee which is suppose to exist in EVERY high school does not exist here. Sure there were occasional cat fights between girls over who gets the guy. But those only last for at least about 5 minutes. Boys never got in trouble because they were no occasional brawls. Rumours died quickly despite how fast it spreads. Goddamit where was the whole high school experience. Elizabeth wanted the whole package! Okay maybe not but maybe a glimpse of an actual high school life would be nice.
"Yo, can you give me a ride home babe?" Elizabeth asked.
"Sure thing. What happened to your car?" Natasha questioned as she unlocked the car and went in. Elizabeth followed suit and replied with a "the usual" and gave a shrug.
Natasha gave her the stink eye. She came from a family who was not financially stable whereas Elizabeth had a lawyer for a father and a police officer for a mother. Sure the income was awesome and Elizabeth could afford anything she wants. Elizabeth was far from spoiled mind you. However, for someone who was once rich and was now financially unstable, Natasha became more conscious of her spending and would naturally drag Elizabeth with her.
As you readers may be wondering, what "the usual" could our dear Elizabeth be referring to? Well, here it is. It was not in anyway Elizabeth's fault that the car did not want to cooperate and crashed into a tree and it was definitely not because she sucked at driving. Totally not. Sometimes the idea of getting Elizabeth a car was by far the worse mistake anyone could ever make. If anything Natasha knew, the girl loved motorcycles. She was deeply in love with her aprilia rsv4. Natasha just chuckled while shaking her head as she pulled out of the parking lot.
"I swear, why don't you just tell your mom and dad you want a bike instead of a car?" Natasha said.
"You know how my parents are, especially my mom, when it comes to bikes. They will skin me alive if they ever see me on one." Elizabeth said in a sour voice.
"Well, I'm sure they'll let you off for this one. This is the...9th car? Yep definitely 9th. How you even passed and got your driver's license are just beyond me Liz," Natasha went on as Elizabeth continued pouting over her dream bike.
"Well I definitely hope so and trust me the car at the driving centres were much more cooperative," Elizabeth sighed as her house came into view.
Natasha pulled up in the driveway and Elizabeth stepped gingerly out of the car, shivering slightly as the Autumn wind caressed her exposed skin.
"Text me alright?" Natasha asked as she released the brakes and drove out of her driveway.
"Yes sure Natasha I will, " Elizabeth answered.
Elizabeth shuffled her feet all the way into the house. Toeing her shoes off near the shoe rack and sliding through the hallway on the polished wooden floor with her fluffy socks. She slid into the kitchen and rummaged through the cupboards and refrigerator. Her stomach gave an impatient growl and she searched faster. Elizabeth managed to dig up some leftover pizzas which were better than no pizzas at all. She popped them into the oven for a few minutes and grabbed a glass of orange juice. The oven dinged and Elizabeth piled the pizzas on a plate and ran up to her room. No one was home to yell or nag at her for eating in her room. No one to scold her for not cleaning up her dishes or washing the clothes. No one to check up on her homework. No one this no one that. No one.
And this was Elizabeth Greene's usual routine.
