It is a regular day for Blaze until her mom flies in. "What are you doing here?" Blaze asks her mom. "I am here to tell you great news. You are going to a school where you will learn to control your fire powers." She answers. Blaze stares at her mom. "You can't be serious."
"Don't you understand? The Queen has declared that all the kids with special powers will be going." her mom tells her. " What if I don't want to? What if I refuse?" Blaze asks her mom. "Then I will have to make you go," she answers.
"You will have to spend the week there, but you can come home on the weekends if you would like to." Her mom informs her. "Fine," Blaze asks, "When do I go?" Her mom answers, "This afternoon, we will start flying."
