The next morning I woke up utterly exhausted. Even though I immediately went to sleep when i got home last bight,my body ached of lack of energy. I shruggedt it off and warily walked over to my closest. Yawning, I began to realize that I was leaving today for London! "LONDON BRIDGES ARE FALLING DOWN, FALLING DOWN, FALLING DOWN & IF THEY DONT STOP FALLING THEN ALL OF US WILL DROWN" I sang quoting ed sheeran's london bridge song featuring yelawolf. It was about 9 in the morning and I had to pack quickly. Courtney texted me to pack for about 3 months, maybe even more. I scanned the top of my closet till I pulled out my Victoria's Secret pink duffel bag and matching zebra striped suitcase. I set them down, and opened the zippers. "First, clothes!" I quickly opened my dresser and grabbed all my jeggings, a few shorts, leggings, yoga pants, and boot cut jeans. I made sure to not forget my favorite abercrombie mint jeggings, which were extremely comfy, yet fashionable! I then started to scan my hangers for my favorite shirts, hoodies, and cardigans. I grabbed a few knit sweaters, and also my favorite scarves. Next, shoes. I grabbed my grey, brown, and chestnut uggs, grey toms, white converse, and a few other pairs of shoes I couldn't leave without. Now, to get ready.
I ran over to the bathroom an took a quick shower. I blow dried my hair, which smelt if vanilla frosting, and straightened it once again. I sprayed some hair spray to add volume and a bit of soft waves to dram my face. I left the restroom and headed over to pick out and outfit. I pulled out my dark blue jeggings from abercombie and rolled them so they were cropped, then decided on grabbing my white button up and pulled a dark blue sweater with suede elbows over it. I rolled the cuffs up to 3/4 sleeve and slipped on my favorite pair of low rise white converse.
When my makeup, outfit, and hair was finally in top shape I sprayed a spritz of caramel delight body spray on my self and walked happily over to my luggage. I propped my bags up and strolled them down the hall into my kitchen.
"Mom! Ya ready?" I waited patiently for an answer. None. Okay? I walked over to the fridge and found a small white sheet of paper hanging on it by a small blue magnet. I lifted the paper off and scanned it quickly.
"Hey autumn,
I'm really sorry but work called it and its an e emergency. Apparently half the staff didn't get their schedule today. Anyways I had to leave, but I paid for a taxi to come pick you up. Call me when you land, be safe!"
I sighed deeply as I munched down a small apple she had probably left on the counter for me. Before I could even sit down, my doorbell rang as I checked the clock. 11.00, okay so my plane leaves in an hour so that must be the car?
I walked over to the door with my luggage and opened it up I be met by a young brunette by who must've been around 25 years old. He smiled politely at me, "autumn right? Autumn er..." He looked down at a paper in his hand with his eyebrows furrowed, "o'brien? Autumn o'brien!"
I chuckled lightly at his awkwardness. "Yup that's me!"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Jordan"
We shook hands and he grabbed my things and carried them down the patio into the yellow taxi.
I opened my door and got into the car. After he settled down and turned on the engine he smiled at me trough the front mirror, "so autumn what brings you to San Fran airport?"
I piped my attention towards the young man, "oh I'm flying out to London, I got a job." I said politely.
"A job? Aren't you quite young?" He said curiously as his car set off the street.
"Yes but I was offered a modeling job for abercrombie." I paused for a second to notice his face in shock. I chuckled, "anyways I have the rest of the year off and there's a photoshoot in London's this week."
He smirked at me, not in a creepy way, but in a way which made me feel so accomplished, "it's great to see someone so young chasing they're dreams, you don't see that a lot in today's work field" I nodded and kept staring out the view. I saw the airport approaching in no time as I thought of what Jordan has said. Damn I was lucky, and he was right young people should chase their dreams. I yawned and stretch as the international terminal flights approached. I was flying Lufthansa, the best airline in the world.
The car stopped an I began to shift around the back of the car and unbuckle my seat.
"Okay miss here's your terminal. Do you need help with your bags?"
I nodded a no, "no thank you Jordan. Oh here's a tip!" I said as I handed him a 5 dollar bill.
"You don't have to" he chuckled at my sincerity.
"No, no keep it! Go buy yourself some coffee"
"Thank you autumn."
I smiled then closed the door and opened the trunk. I grabbed my duffel and suitcase and waved good bye to Jordan. His car pulled away as I went through the rotating doors, and walked into the the busy airport.
As I entered I noticed the mass of people that surrounded each check in station; delta, united, Hawaiian, Japan, Alaska, Philippines, oh and there's Lufthansa! I quickly scrambled past people who seemed to be in a quit a rush, an found my way over to the list of flights offered by my airline. "Flight 792 to France, flight 734 to Spain, flight 789 to Germany, and yay, flight 765 to England departing in 30 minutes! I gotta go!" I mumbled to myself as I got in line for the check in. The line moved quickly and I finished handing the bags to the lady.
*****later*******
Finally after half an hour the flight was taking off. I drowsily fell asleep on the uncomfortable airline seats.
