1. A scar too deep...
New year, new semester but the same social hierarchy. The people parted as they walked down the hallway.
'They' remain the key elements of this story. There were five of them, each as good-looking, powerful and rich as the other. Famous for all the wrong things that happened around the small and yet influential town of Rosewood.
"It's January Anne, it's freezing out here. There was literally a snow storm two weeks ago."
"It's never too late to bring back summer fashion early, Dave."
"This is getting boring!"
"You're not even listening to them Drake, if not for all these people, you'd be jumping onto Anne right now."
"Like a quad full of people would ever stop him."
"Why do they have to overdo it? Like moving out of the way is common courtesy but not even glancing at us is just too much, we're not dictators, we're genuinely lovely bunch of people." Drake exclaimed, in an effort to obviously hide his underlying yet clearly visible intentions.
"Angel stop smirking."
They continued walking till they reached the main lobby that led to the first floor through a spherical staircase but then paused as Dave suddenly cried out in joy.
"Haha, Eureka! This time it really was a little tricky. You guys want the link too right?"
The reply was a series of 'nos' which startled him for a second before realising.
"When?"
"Yesterday, I was bored." Casper shrugged as Dave gave him a hard glare.
"And you couldn't bother telling me all this while I gloated on and on." He looked in disbelief at all his friends.
"Well I thought you would be thrilled to do it on your own since you couldn't fuck around this week." Casper curtly replied before walking up the stairs.
"That arrogant ass thinks the world revolves around. He-"
"God, stop gloating and do this for me. I'm bored so I wanna pull a little 'back to school' prank." Drake interrupted and shared his plan for the prank.
It's not like they needed a prank of sorts. Lets just say, pretending to pull off a prank was also a leisure to these devils.
"I'm gonna check up on him. He's a bit cranky!" Angelina said excusing herself from the group as well.
She walked out to the field and under the bleachers where Casper was taking a long drag out of his cigarette. She instantly knew something was bothering him but couldn't pinpoint on what.
"So what's wrong?" She asked snatching the cigarette for herself.
"That was mine and nothing!"
"Didn't daddy buy you a sports car last week? What could possibly go wrong Cassie, love?"
"You, you keep testing my patience Angel. Now we don't wanna talk about family, do we?" He smirked evilly as an evident scowl fitted itself on her face. He moved closer invading her precious personal space but she didn't say a word. He brought one hand up to caress her cheek and the other roughly grabbed her waist to pull her close.
"Avoiding things is your speciality Casper Wellington but you know it doesn't work on me. So better not try to change this to your sexual desire!" She hissed pulling away and walking out.
