"Is anyone going to question why we can't leave? I have people out there." A random pirate groaned. He had been trying to leave ever since Kid. Zoro heard but ignored him. Our crew is all here. He looked around for everyone. Everyone is here, except Luffy. He determined. He turned back to the 'mystery girl' as he called her. He frantically looked around as his words registered within his mind.

"Where is that idiot?" Zoro questioned gaining Chopper's attention.

"Zoro?" He called out gaining the rest of the Strawhats attention.

"Where is Luffy?"

P.O.V. : Third

Location : Futenma

The Strawhat crew panicked as they searched for their idiotic captain. "Luffy?" They began to call out, searching for thier captain.

"Huh?" Ace questioned as he noticed the commotion. "Hey. What's going on?" He questioned the Strawhats as he walked away from the girl, everyone's attention now on him.

"We can't find Luffy." Nami explained as she looked around.

"Maybe he's still outside." Garp suggested as he walked up the the group.

"Yeah, the problem with that is we can't get outside." Sanji stated as he watched another no name pirate try to leave.

"What?" Garp asked as he walked out the door, only to come back.

"Sengoku! What's this? This wasn't in the plan. You said we could leave freely." A pirate called out as Sengoku exited the stage. He made his way to the exit. Nobody seemed to notice the little periwinkle headed girl as she walked around the plaza. The panic began to set in as the other pirates thought about what was said. They began pushing each other, desperate to leave.

"CALM DOWN!" Whitebeard boomed and everyone turned to him. "Sengoku! What's the meaning of this? Is this true?" He glared at the fleet admiral.

"No. this was not part of the plan." He informed the pirates. "Ashton..." Ace muttered recalling what she had said.

"What about the child?" Robin asked.

"She said she was doing this." He answered gaining everyone's attention. He searched around but couldn't find her.

"Where is she?"

"She was just here."

"Find her."

Multiple voices overlapped each other. "Brat, where are you?" Garp called out and everyone was quiet.

"Runt, get out here." Kid glared at nothing, amber eyes searching for any sign of the girl.

"Ace, tell her to come to you." Shanks spoke up, noticing that the girl must have some kind of respect for him. Everyone looked at Ace, waiting for him to speak.

"Um, Ashton? Where are you?" He questioned slowly looking around, everyone following his action.

"Right here." Ashton spoke standing right beside him with a blank look on her face. Everyone looked to her in shock.

"Was she there the whole time?" Nobody responded to Usopp.

"Why can't we leave?" Garp questioned, crouching down to the girl's height. Ashton narrowed her eyes at him but didn't respond.

"Listen here, I have people out there, so you need to answer the question." Someone grabbed her by her collar, lifting her to his face. She stared at him blankly. Stinky.

"Hey, let her go!" Ace yelled grabbing the girl from him. "Can you please explain?" Ace asked her and she nodded.

"Monsters." She pointed to the door. "Not strong enough." She pointed to Ace. So blunt! Everyone thought looking at her wide eyed.

"What? Just cause Fire Fist isn't strong enough doesn't mean that we can't take on these so-called monsters." The same pirate that grabbed her spoke up. Other pirates nodded in agreement.

"Weaker than Ace." She pointed to the pirate and those who agreed with him.

"You little b-"

"Okay, why are you doing this yoi?" Marco questioned.

"Protection." She looked at him. Everyone laughed at her.

"I'm pretty sure we can protect ourselves. You can let us out." Ace chuckled. Ashton stared at him and everyone else.

"Hmph" She began to walk towards Ace and held her hands up. He understood and lifted her onto his shoulders. A strawhat appeared on her head once again and she reached out and grabbed Aruis from the ground and placed him on her head. She tugged the dark locks of Ace's hair forward and he began to walk to the door. He opened it slowly.

(I don't know if a warning is needed for this part, but I'll add one anyway)

The first thing they heard were the screams. The blood curling screams of the pirates and marines alike as dark, smokey creatures attacked them. Some creatures noticed the new people exit the plaza and slowly crawled to them. Someone screamed as a creature dragged him away from the group. "Garp-san! Guns don't work, nothing we do hurts them. You should've stayed in the plaza, it's too late for us." A marine said before screaming in pain as a creature attacked him from the left, dragging his body behind a pillar.

"Oi! Guys! It's me!" Luffy screamed as he hightailed it towards the group, several other pirates following. "I can't kick their ass. I just go straight through them." he informed the group as he bent over, catching his breath.

"Room." Law called as the familiar blue tint covered the area. "Amputate." He called out as he swung his nodachi at the creatures. Nothing happened. Zoro and Sanji both experienced the same thing as they attacked the creatures.

"It seems as no physical attack can hurt them." Garp and Luffy laughed at this as if their lives weren't in danger. Kid glared at them as he attacked the monsters getting nowhere.

"Let's go back to the plaza and form a plan." Nami suggested as Usopp, Chopper, and Bepo nodded frantically at their captains. Everyone rushed back into the plaza, the group was now 1/4 of what it was when they exited. Whitebeard looked at the bodies in concern, wondering if any of his sons had lost their lives and he wasn't there to help. The monsters noticed the retreat and ran full speed at the group. The door shut in the nick of time, but the monsters still rushed at the door attempting to break it down.

"Why isn't it working? They couldn't get in before! What changed?" Someone yelled as everyone pushed against the door. Whitebeard began to walk over to the door to help before stopping at the glare he received from Marco and Shanks. Both pirates know he was at his limit and that he could probably barely stand at this point.

"Ashton changed. I told her to open the door. She was protecting us at first." Ace realized as he looked up at the girl who stared back at him.

"Could you do what you did again? Could you protect us?" Usopp pleaded to the girl. She stared at him before putting two fingers to his forehead. She lifted his fingers and he rose up limply as veins began to show. Usopps' life flashed before Ashtons eyes. His life flashed as if it were in slow motion. Ace stared in shock. So, this is what I looked like when she did it to me. He thought. That's freaky. He shuddered.

"Usopp! Stop!" Luffy yelled attempting to attack the child.

"Wait yoi." Marco held him back. She gently placed Usopp back onto the ground and he put a hand to his chest, feeling for a heartbeat. He placed his other hand to his neck, feeling for a pulse.

"Am I dead? What just happened?" He looked around confused.

"Hmph." Ashton huffed before walking to the door. She touched it lightly and the door stopped shaking and they didn't hear the sound of the creatures attack the door. The only questioned going through everybody's mind was, 'How is she doing that?'
