I walked out of the pub with Roger.

"Nice to see you again." He called out.

"You as well."

We went our separate ways when we reached the parking lot. I watched him climb inside his car before I opened the passenger door to Savannah's.

"I guess you realize you couldn't avoid him any longer."

I got settled in the seat.

"He came over without my knowledge." I stammered.

The dashboard lights glowed up when she put the keys in the ignition. She pushed her wavy hair over her shoulder dramatically.

"I will believe you when I'm dead."

I covered my face with my hands, peeking through my finger gaps. She played with a chunk of her hair while saying,

"You've got a lot confessing to do."

"I guess I do." I sighed, dropping my hands into my lap.

I didn't want to talk about it! I kept my thoughts on Roger and time travel bottled up inside me. But I guess sharing a little of my problems with Savannah wouldn't hurt. Might be a relief. If we are going to be living together, she has the right to know what's going on.

"Fine, what do want to know first?"

"Finally! Briana, you're a dark horse."

I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you avoiding Roger for?"

I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I guess we're going to be up all night."

"Don't be so dramatic!"

She pulled out of the parking lot.

"I'm just speaking the truth," I explained.

"Get on with it! If you keep stalling then we would be up all night." She laughed while waving her free hand wildly while keeping her eyes on the road.

"Do you even know who Roger is?"

"Of course! A friend of Freddie's, one of the best customers!"

"That's all you know?"

"Yeah...why?" Savannah's voice trailed off, she eyed me skeptically, her icy blue eyes flickering.

"He is the drummer of Freddie's band."

Her eyes popped out with astonishment.

"He is the drummer of Queen? Please tell me you're kidding!" She exclaimed flailing her arms in the air.

I smiled feeling amused by Sav's reaction.

"Not kidding at all. You better calm down before we get in a car wreck."

"I can't believe I met a hot drummer and didn't know it! Now tell me the whole story! Don't leave out any details!"

Astonishingly, it didn't take much out of me to process the story.

"Oooh! How romantic!" She gushed, "I bet he carried you home."

My face was burning.

"I don't know if he did or not."

"I bet he did!"

I covered my face in embarrassment.

"You like him."

"No, I don't!" I spat.

"No need denying it Love." Savannah grinned, "you have it bad for him."

"You do too!" I pointed out.
