I have been wondering recently if I'm in some type of parallel universe or if I am back in time somehow. I need to find out how I ended up here. What triggered the universe to bring me back in time?
Things were getting tricky for me. I cannot wrap my head around it.
I remember, back when I was sixteen I did write about meeting Queen when they first started. But I didn't believe my imaginary writing would come to life. Now, strangely I'm starting to believe the book is magic. Have I gone slightly mad?
I was sitting across from Roger at the dining room table. I ate nervously. From last night's smooth chatting, I was shy all over again.
"You've been quiet today," Roger mentioned.
I snapped out of it and gazed up at him.
"I just have a lot on my mind," I said, low-spirited.
He stared at me uncomfortably, like he didn't know what to do or say.
"Is it about last night?" He guessed.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you still mad at me?"
"No, of course not, I mean I was very upset...but I'm okay now."
"So...what is it?"
I lied about my family dying in a plane crash. I have nowhere to live; he cannot take care of me forever! Did I mention I'm in a different decade?! But I can't tell him everything, if I told Roger, Freddie, John, and Brian I'm a time traveler they would think I'm nuts!
"Well...for starters; I don't know where I am."
"You're at a table." He teased.
"Oh shut up!" I giggled.
Roger flashed me a vibrant smile. He knows his charm can work on anyone, especially women and I am a sucker.
"Tell me about yourself."
"Oh come on, we just did this yesterday."
"I know. I want to know more."
"Like what?" I sighed dramatically.
"Anything."
"How about you talk about yourself, I'm not that interesting."
He chuckled softly.
"You are stubborn love."
"You know me," I smirked.
"Hardly." Roger laughed lustily, "Let me know you."
"I have no friends if that tells you anything."
"Why don't you have friends?"
I shrugged,
"Beats me, I am shy for one."
"I will be your friend." He said.
I couldn't tell if he was kidding, did he mean that?
"Roger, you have plenty of friends. Don't add me to the list, I am boring.
"Stop being hard on yourself."
"Thanks, Mom." I teased.
"You are welcome, darling," Roger spoke in a feminist tone.
"What the heck Roger!" I cried out.
We both laughed boisterously and then all of a sudden the front door opened.
"Roger, you know it's my job to say that," Freddie announced. "How are you doing, Briana?"
